I believe it is smoking cessation (that is stopping) that is connected to TB control.
If you want to rely on internet research, I can find whatever belief, you like.
However, my beliefs are in favor of controlling noone but myself.
I find that people are biased by external authority, more than responsible self-ownership.
Also, your treatment option, regardless of it's pro's and con's, requires me to deal with market controls and social sanctions. I have to leave informed consent behind, because I am not allowed to choose for myself, on my terms.
For instance, let's say that (fill in the blank) is the cure for all ills. Only you may traffic in it. Every alternative is evil, and so is independence from your institution (rhetorically speaking.)
Maybe, your remedy works. Maybe, it doesn't. Maybe, it's somewhere in between. My reservations about it are only social.
What was your remedy, by the way. Is it something, which I get to administer, or are you asking me to trust someone else with my safety. Is it flawed, in any way, whatsoever, and should we say it's the end of the world.
Again, my reservations are only social. I am biased but openly acknowledge my biases.
