'tis what traffic engineers call speed bumps and stop signs/lights, roundabouts and such. designed to increase impedance in a traffic flow.

This sounds horrible but yes...

The dog noises annoy me as well.

I like sports, but tennis is a sport considered not as popular as most. I also support a player not very well-known by a lot of people, which is a shame.

People killing insects, yes even wasps or fleas.

People who are talking on and off on a phone but through earphones (without having to hold a phone to their ear) and you think they're either talking to themselves or talking to you.

When teenage girls or twentysomething girls exclaim "shut up!", not in a rude way, but more like the British equivalent to "no way!".

with me, it is things big and little, the big ones overwhelm but the little things niggle-

*nasty insects buzzing around my head inside my place
*loud irritating noises
*pain
*aging
*the taste/texture of olives and raw tomatoes
*bitter things
*rap music
*mean people
many more.

Wait. Is hating olives actually a thing? I cannot stand olives. They're evil. Evil O(s)

it very much is a thing, it must be genetic. my niece's hubby also hates olives, says there is nothing more vile-tasting in his opinion.

^ I actually like black olives that come in cans. But they're the only olives I actually do like, all other olives are nasty. I might try one anyway, just if they're as nasty as I remember. Yep, still nasty. Brings new meaning to the phrase "Betcha can't eat just one". :eew:

Anyone who hates black olives is....sick.

But anyone who LIKES green olives is......REAAAALLY SICK!! !! !!

But seriously. Black olives are meh. Okay. And olive oil is one the necessities of life.

But yeah...biting into a green olive ...the very thought makes me shudder.

When 10 year old threads get bumped on WP.

When people bring huge big prams on to buses.

Being "too old" to explore abandoned buildings.

the thought that according to the FDA and their "food action list," that the chocolate i'm eating could have an "acceptable level" of insect parts and rodent hairs mixed in with it. :eew:
