Innocence, honesty and Aspergers

As children grow they pass through various stages of childhood development. This link describes those stages. CHILD DEVELOPMENT BY AGE
As I passed through these stages, my development stopped in the "Pleasing 4" stage. And there I remain. I am 70 years old and still in my "Pleasing 4" stage. I am a little like Peter Pan, because inside I never age. I still see the world as a World of Wonder. And it has given me many unique and valuable gifts.
Most likely my transition was halted by stress and trauma. It froze my development. But this is not all bad because it also gave me great strengths. I am a child operating in an adult world. I do it seamlessly because I wear a mask. In the real world I am an adult (an adult with some strange quirks). [In my opinion, the mask I use is very different than the typical mask used by Aspie females. They mask to be socially acceptable. They tend to replay every encounter over and over again in their minds to figure out what social interaction could have solved a particular situation. What they did wrong? It psychologically wears them out over time. I mask to hide the fact I am a child and I am still innocent. I rarely replay social situations. I just accept the world for what it is.]
I believe the difference between many Aspie males and females is that the females have progressed much further through the stages of childhood development. That is why you don't observe this quality in your sisters. I suspect if your sisters are Aspies then when their growth through the various stages were halted they may have even been driven backwards in a reverse direction down these stages. That is why they are different. They had a taste of an extrovert personality.
"Honesty" and "Innocence" is one of the qualities of many Aspie Males.

Howling like a wolf is a very good thing. Never stop doing it. It helps to neutralize core stress.
