Oomph yes, many horrible experiences for me too. I had one therapist get angry with me because when I described my emotions she said I was a robot. Then she started to mock me. It hurt so much.
It is scary to open up to a therapist, and there are hurtful things that can happen. There are some good ones too. I have worked with some very helpful and supportive people through the years.
Just remember Jakki, these people work for you. If they aren't a good fit, you have every right to fire them. And if things get scary or you question things, well, you have us supporting you!

When you give someone the authority to interact with you on a personal level in can be very hard to figure out to seperate from them . But usually can sort therapists much better than i used too.
