Don't most people whine instead of solving their problems?

Seems like that's what WP is supposed to be. But every time someone steps up and says that Aspies can better their lives, they get shot down because "not everyone is that high functioning." So not everyone is. But I still get the feeling that some people are more content sitting on their asses, playing up the AS card, than actually trying to face their difficulties.

The trouble is every person is unique. People need to find their own ways to face their difficulties. It requires social support, cooperation, and compromise. The uselessly generic solution of "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" that a certain segment of society throws at everyone only worsens people's resentment towards any kind of "handed down" advice.

Exactly my thought. Why do you say "we"? some people whine more then others, for different reasons, whether they are NT or AS.
