Sometimes it's hard to stop.

I've been told many times that I should be an actress or a comedian. Some people seem to believe I would be great at it. I've been encouraged to try to get into acting or dubbing, but I've never really given it a try. I just like doing it at home or around certain people for fun. Maybe I'll try to get into dubbing cartoons sometime, but I can't imagine myself going much further than that.

I've been told that I have an unusual sense of humor that is hilarious once you get it. I've made up some roles that are apparently really funny and that I get into all the time just for a laugh. I also make funny voices.

I would say that I do a lot of acting daily, mostly due to being an aspie. At work for example I need to assume a certain role in order to be taken seriously and given opportunities. I do hold onto my aspie traits, but try to sugarcoat them in ways that NTs are more receptive to, because in my experience my real personality would just not work in the corporate environment. I assume various such roles all the time. Apparently it's quite common for female aspies to mirror different personalities like that. On the downside, few people really know or accept the real me.

Yeah, Todesking, I am thinking that acting like NT's has turned me into a great actor of anything. As long as I am willing to fit the role.

Same here. I believe I can act a lot of roles, as long as I'm willing to put myself into those roles. I can't act roles unless I really want to put myself into them. That's why I'm skeptical when people say I should be an actress. I couldn't take on just any role if I had to, I would need to want to take on that role and preferrably have a lot of space to affect the role and improvize.

It's funny that you mention that, because the same thing happens to me quite often. People seem to have a hard time telling when I'm joking and when I'm being serious and at times I've jokingly said the most ridiculous things and people thought I was being serious. Even people who know me really well sometimes have to ask me if I'm joking or being serious.

This happens to me more often than I like.
