I'm VHFA.

I'm a well-adapted adult.

Asperger's is a developmental disorder, a developmental delay.

We are late bloomers, but often spectacular ones.

The only thing that handicaps us is a belief that we "can't" do something.

We should not be held to the same timetable as those with Normally Tuned brains.

Your milage may vary, and probably will.

what physical disease do you have?

Something called Ankylosing Spondylitis, and a secondary disease called Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Well, the score is a bit difficult

- I have a full time job (more than fulltime lately unfortunately, but it pays)
- NO girlfriend
- one best friend, some friends
- some social life
- volunteer job

Looks high functioning. But it takes a lot of energy, especially the full time job. Now I have a head ache and feel dull, because I had to work 10,5 hours today. Probably sink in this weekend. But next week I planned a day off!

This very much varies over time for me. At times I will have no friends whatsoever, or times like now I'll have a few. Depends on how many people I frequently see that can keep a conversation with me.

I'm not old enough to get a job, but as far as everything else goes I'm right on par with the 10 you described. Got a boyfriend (we don't live together but that's standard at 14 & 15), more than twenty best friends, I get good grades and I have a great social life. Though why aren't there more choices on this poll for those in between?
