Obviously ddrapayo is referring to the Star of David that Jews were required to wear under the Nazis.

The Nazis would have you believe that Jews were unmistakable anyway, but they could never be too careful. The star made them easy to identify and, presumably, easy to subjugate.

Obviously we should spell ASD with our fingers when we meet someone we suspect of being part of our set, or just introduce them as a friend of ours instead of a friend of mine.
