What is your obsession?

Hmm, I'd have to say my obsessions are humanoid robotics, Invader Zim and Rozen Maiden. Video gaming is also what some would describe as an obsession for me, but I see it as a way of life

I've always liked maps as well, long before I was obsessed with roads, but it's nice that the two kind of fit together. I've been what you might call a roadgeek since I was about 10, even though I didn't know there was a name for it until a couple years ago. I do like to know that there's others that share this interest.

I'm from Ohio, so I mostly focus on roads here, even though they aren't spectacular. The ironic part is that, despite my obsession with roads, I don't even have a driver's license.

I LOVE MODEL AIRPLANES!

I was a road geek when I was younger, I looked at the map for like 12 hours a day, memorized every highway and every numbering system.. then eventually I moved on to new obsessions I guess.

Right now it's music. Specifically Dragonforce.

What kind of model airplanes, Theduke? Plastic or balsa?

Computer, Video games, TV. My whole life right now is just lookin at a box with a screen in the middle.

Series and syllabuses - mainly maths & science textbooks, manga, telefantasy, school stories & dancing.

Very expensive & takes up lots of space (I have hundreds & hundreds of books, videos, magazines & DVD's).

The internet/Computer, Video Games (Mainly RPGS like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts), manga & anime, Japanese street fashion, and I currently seem to have an obsession with always changing my hair and general appearance. D:

History mainly ancient and up to late 1800s-early 1900s and books of fiction, romantic historical fiction (mostly because of the vivid descriptions of the time periods). Oh and i have a compulsive obsession with objects that have curves in it (i also beleive teh universe is made of curved, soft angles.) so slinkies, tangle toys, and drawing squiggles takes alot of my time. I role play obessively in the time periods of my preference. cant hold a conversation about much anything else but this, not a long one anyways. anyone else here likes history??? mythology??? i love to talk about mythology and i would not mind chatting via pm!

I love history and mythology.I doubt I'm knowledgeable enough either subject to be worth your time, but if you don't mind that i certainly wouldn't mind chatting about either.

Insects, plants, photography, art and writing. Sometimes weather. Psychology, disorders, etc can also fit in as an obsession.

Insects generally are my biggest long-term obsession.

Combine those and you get interesting results.

The result: Stories and artwork with insect characters. With the psychology obession, not only do I have insect characters, but they have very human-like qualities and deal with humanlike problems, such as alcoholism, PTSD, etc...
