Agreed, People should stop treating them like synonymous. It’s unfair to all the cool NTs in the world.

Art. I want to see art. Drawings. I like pictures. If it's unique, you'll get more sales :)

I love the entrepreneur aspect but I could just do the same thing you are doing using cafe press.

If it's something really unique like you are actually designing types of fabric or you are coming up with some interesting art, that is what is going to make all the difference.

Even if you aren't good at digital design or art, if you were to do something like making art with words and making others reading your shirt try to figure it out, it would be worth buying because you won't find it anywhere else and it isn't as easy to emulate.

Kind of like making ascii art

You could copy this Angelina Jolie art but somewhere in the drawing add the words (Did you know Angelina Jolie has aspergers?)

I think she does anyway

How about one that says:

"Curing autism is like curing left-handedness."

If someone has Asperger's, are they also called "Autistic"? or just on the "autistic spectrum"... Is the word "Autistic" pretty much specifically for those with "Classic Autism"? or HFA?

just wanted to clarify..

Thanks.

In other words.. the shirt "You're staring at an autistic's boobs!" would not be worn by someone with Asperger's right? or would it??

Autism is a spectrum, that includes Aspergers, LFA, HFA and many other fun things.

People here where I live will have no idea what 'autistic' means though.

some 'here' [aka wp] seem to not know what autistic means either [autistic/autism means more than just aspergers/aspies].

LOL that last addition is funny!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could shop at stores made thinking of US? If we could buy clothes without inside tags that can't be totally removed, nudging assistants, etc.

there are some shops that have more autistic friendly clothing, marks and spencer is one,am buy socks and boxer shorts from their authentic range-they have reduced seams to a minimum and they have no labels.

it is possible a range of clothing completely designed for autistics would work because there are ranges designed for other needs,
like wheel chair users etc.
am have also seen some clothing just starting? for sensory problems but they were only in childrens sizes.

it would be good if a complete sensory friendly range was designed [for adults of all sizes],and they stop seeing children as the only ones who would be of any use in them.
am would like to see one of them make a slip on but tough sports bra that has smooth non silky/wet feeling material,no hooks,no seams,no bits of thread sticking out,no labels, and no logos.
not even marks and spencer do one without hooks at the least.

would be good if TheZack or anyone else with experience of what its like could design a complete autistic/sensory friendly range
eventually.

I find Triumph do some pretty good soft and seamless smooth sports bras without clips, if you can find a stockist (might be a bit pricy though, I think House of Fraser do 'em)... http://www.triumph.com/uk/ If that's of any use!
