You're not like AspieStar. She's just plain immature rather than a nerd/geek/dork. You're too mature to be like her and you don't spend a mind boggling ammount of effort trying to defend something really ret*d. I'm not sure if there is anything wrong with her IQ or not, but she probably has deficits in other areas. Maybe you are just a well disguised nerd/geek/dork? :)

Oh, and there are several ways to read the fine print.

Well I'm a female geek and I'm hot as well. Thank you. That is all...

OK I might be slightly biased. But there is defo something about being geeky that's incredibly attractive. It's the ability to actually find a meaning in life that's based around a radio playout system or a patchbay. I work at the World Service and to be honest, just can't get enough of cables, mixing desks, and microphones. I also have such a penchant for Cubase, Cool Edit Pro and the like that I can't see myself ever having a normal life when these programs demand so much of my time.

In terms of geek men - I asked someone for help with mixing some music the other day - I wanted to know how to get the aesthetic of a song right. He replied with so much utter nerdspeak and ireconcilable jargon...that I decided he is the future father of my children. That must be something to do with admiration for some kind of weird intelligence. Do men also find this attractive in women? Because I get the feeling men want a girl to be slightly easier on the eye than they are and slightly lighter on the intelligence. Not that that's a bad thing - similarly - I want to end up with someone cleverer than I am.

Don't say it - "that shouldn't be too hard."

Is that the BBC World Service? If so, I've listened to alot of their programming on shortwave over the years. I may have heard some of your work!
