If you go by what I think is possible compared to what most people think is possible, then I'm as nutty as a fruitcake.

No, we are not in control when they take so much away that we don’t know who or what we are.
I had no options when I was a kid, and no choices in how to respond.

And now you’re what – an Uncle Tom?

Blaming NT's... for all my mishaps – check. Damn right. They deserved more blame than I imagined.
Fighting the enemy – check
Maladaptive – check. I adapted in the only way that I could. I did pretty damn well, considering.
Self destructive – Not at all. They tried to destroy me, but I held on anyway.
Angst – check. Tons of that. So what’s your point?

tahiti, we are in control of how we respond, when we as, AS have so many difficulties to start with, and seem to have difficulties with the general day to day living of life the one thing we cannot lose sight of is the only thing we are in control of and can chose to control is our responses to anything.

my point is, i fought with everyone and everything and had all the bad, maladaptive AS behaviours that you can read about.
until one day i woke up and met the enemy...........he was me.

you get to a point in your life when you stop blaming all others for your difficulties and decide that YOU are in control of YOUR life, not them.

Funny, I think exactly the same thing whenever I look at the rest of the world.

Amen, brother.

Back to Jesus on the raptor, Revelation would be so much cooler if Jesus rode a raptor in the final battle. seriously.

Well I don't think Jesus would stand for a lot of the things that people use his name for. Hey isnt the Dahli lama a lot like Jesus, maybe he keeps turning into different things for different religons, can't wait for treky Jesus.
