I wasn't saying you meant anything that way. Your comments were pretty obviously neutral. (obviously I do not have a savant skill in communication!)

I just had to mention that it's a way people use to excuse the skills of "low-functioning" people, using "savant" to mean they're not really thinking. But that's not true; a savant skill is just a skill that's way above your other skills and way above the norm--it doesn't mean it's not "real" somehow. Of course it's real; it's just unusual.

I don't think I'd qualify typing as a savant skill, though. Most people can type, after all.
