Because they've been suppressed as a group-you see it in the oppression of African-Americans in Society and the rise of people like Malcolm X and the like.

Oh that I could have Autism beaten out of me !

I'd be straight in the ring for a 15-rounder with Tyson.

I hope you enjoy it in a few years when people do grow some balls and do radical change and f**k the society up.

"But, why are you doing this? Terrorists!"
"Hey, YOU asked for it. You wanted us to get f*****g balls and do something about it"
"Oh.."

I really don't enjoy it either and don't much understand people who do. I know from what I can gather, they don't understand me either.

I don't know how to highlight or make quotes so I guess I'll just muddle my way around until I do.

People can't always help what they feel. Sometimes in situations people with communication problems .... feel excluded and unwanted. Surely situations like this create feelings of resentment, that lead on to feelings of them and us.

No one can deny other people the right to have certain feelings - and this forum should be a safe place for people to vent those feelings.

It is awfully hard to feel a sense of injustice, and not be allowed to state how you feel. Nothing more frustrating.

It is okay to debate and discuss, but it's not okay to be nasty.

My point of view, I don't expect people to agree.

lmao  as in the kind of people who think autism isn't real, and believe they should be beaten. OP is original post or poster I think, so the person who started the thread.

Autism is indeed real, but it is not so divergent that both people with an ASD and non-ASD people should be treated as different species, as I've seen before. I've seen some more radical members act as if there's an ASD vs. NT culture war, which couldn't be further from the truth. Both autistic people and non-autistic people share a variety of traits, for example, I would be considered NT and yet my personality and behavior has a lot in common with AS people (to the point where my psychologist suggested I may have it). People are different, and it's impossible to classify them on the basis of whether or not they have an autistic condition.

You 'wrap' the text in the 'bold tag'. This is done by placing the letter b inside these[] before the text (you want highlighted), and placing /b inside [] at the end of the text you want to highlight. To check if you did it properly, you can preview your post before you submit it and edit the tags if need be.

Quoting pretty much works like highlighting, except it uses the word 'quote' instead of the letter 'b'. So to open a quote box, you put the word 'quote' inside [], and you put /quote inside [] to close the quote box. If you want the quote box to appear with the name of the person you are quoting, inside the [] you put the word quote with the = sign next to it, then you put the name inside speech marks. It looks like this [quote="postername"]. As with quoting without the person's name, you need to put /quote inside the [] at the end of the quote.

Alternatively (and more easily), you can use the quote feature instead of the reply if you want to quote another user's comments in their entirety.

I hope this helps.
