I had a dream last year about winning at laser quest and even dreamed my score... when I played laser quest a few days later, I was in 1st place, and the score was even the same! 1022, for those interested...
The week after, I dreamed about a guy I knew from church hurting his nose playing a game, this was a monday night - on the Thursday we played capture the flag and I was in his team, he tripped while running and cut his nose on a piece of sharp wire that was in the ground for some reason.

coincidence, I'm guessing... but two future dreams in two weeks... :o

I have experienced deja vu based on dreams...

One of my theories is that when you dream, you actually see an alternate universe - looking through the eyes of your alternative self who lives there. One has to wonder if THEY can see my life while they sleep and dream

I had the same kind of thing as the OP... I think it's premonitions but slightly different than what actually happened because what WAS YET TO HAPPEN changed. I had that kind of thing 2 days before 9/11... also, in that ream, I was a person that got killed in the towers, tho obviously it didn't happen to me. I believe it was probly thru someone else's eyes that I had this premonition, thru the eyes of someone whom it was "supposed" to happen to or whom it actually happened to...

And Donna Williams had premonitions too! Ask her (she's on Facebook), or read Nobody Nowhere, her book. :D

I don't make prophetic dreams, it's more the thing of my NT mother. Then again she did come close to death as a child and got a near death experience, so it may be that, who know... Nothing can be certain with that really.

If such prophetic experiences turn out to be true it could mean that physic still got a long way to go, as it would mean there is no causality.

I have dreams about what worries me coming true.... sometimes they do. Is this self-fulfilling prophecy or precognition...

My Mum told me how when they were younger her sister woke up one night after a horrible nightmare and woke her and my grandmother up. She said she was on a train looking out at beautiful countryside but then all of a sudden everything went black. It was just pure darkness so she got scared and pulled down the blind to close out the darkness and there was a list of all these names on the blind. The next day they got up and that was the day the Granville train disaster happened here in Australia. The day after that the newspaper looked like the list my aunty saw with all the names of the dead. She was pretty freaked out.

In 2007 I had a dream that turned out to be very similar to the scenes I saw on the news of a severe storm that hit the coastal city where my Dad lives. The storm killed some people and washed a ship on-shore.

Before the Brisbane floods I also had a dream of driving on the highway north of my home town with all this brown flood water on either side. Then the car became a boat and me and my family nearly got washed over this sort of cliff/riverbank thing and had to be rescued by a helicopter.

In recent years I had another one about driving in the dark through palm trees and banana trees like on a winding tropical road in the dark with heaps and heaps of these big white arrows on the road to make sure you stay on the left. Then some headlights started coming the other way on the same side of the road and both me and the other driver stopped just in time so we didn't crash head on. That's when I woke up. I remember thinking how stupid it was to have so many big obvious arrows on the road as though people would need to be reminded.
But I think the next day or within the next few days I saw that American Samoa had changed its road laws from the American right side to driving on the left. That was a pretty funny one

I don't think this needs to be merely dismissed as 'coincidence' nor mystified as 'supernatural'. A lot of what we now call science would have seemed super natural once too. Maybe science just can't yet show why some people's brains are intensely sensitive to the most subtle external stimulus.

Have had this happen once when I was a kid, I dreamt that I came home from school and found a huge row of soft toys in my bedroom. I woke up all disappointed, went to school that day and came home to the exact soft toys all in a row.
