Actually trolls troll for angry, annoyed responses in result of the havoc thats been stirred up.
I think of trolls putting down baited poison in a trap that is yet to be stumbled apon by someone that is none the wiser.
The effect of trolling is also like releasing a wolf into a pack of caged sheep.
