You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

That's the most 'aspie'ish I can portray myself without being dishonest!

Thanks for sharing undefineable.

Thanks 10ryx2. Your comments reduced the confusion I had in my mind. thanks.

I wish other people would too.
Surely people get bored with hanging around the same group of people all the time?

Well, I know I do, that is why I have many social circles. I think some poeple like hanging with very similar people to themselves as it reaffirms their self image. May be they need to feel secure and they see discomfort in anything or anyone who is not familiar. Personally, I think they miss out on the lot of beauty in life which comes from diversity.
Yeah, lets hope world changes - I think it is bit. Or may be it is my eternal optimism! :)

I have met people who were both systematic and had good people skills.
They could switch between focussing on people and focussing on technical things really easily. Not wonderfully brilliant at either skill, but good enough at both.

They used to try and sell me illicit copies of computer games copied onto floppy disks at school. I wasn't taken in by their sales talk though.

Perhaps they have now become car, computer or mobile phone sales people?

Just a thought.
