I feel so dumb for asking this but I am confused by this question on the AQ:

I am fascinated by dates.

At first I thought it meant like dried fruit I think it means dating?! If so, is it asking if I am I facinated by going out on dates with people or facinated by the person i'm on a date with or is it asking if I get obsessive about the person I have been dating?

I took that to mean historical dates, such as July 4, 1776 or more contemporary dates, such as relatives birthdays.

BAP
Aloof = 129
Rigid = 129
pragmatic = 119

"You scored above the cutoff on all three scales. Clearly, you are either autistic or on the broader autistic phenotype. You probably are not very social, and when you do interact with others, you come off as strange or rude without meaning to. You probably also like things to be familiar and predictable and don't like changes, especially unexpected ones." --- Uh, no sh*t Sherlock....

AQ = 44

EQ = 4 This one really struck me... I know I lack empathy, I know it to my core, but I never thought it was this bad.

SQ = 60 No surprises here.

EIQ = 30

"You seem to be lacking in most, if not all of the skills that can help you identify, perceive and express emotions in yourself and others. This can, if it hasn't already, hinder your ability to read others, to understand how they feel, and to effectively identify your own emotions. Lacking these skills could mean that you are unable to relate to others and may sometimes even question why you yourself behave the way you do." LMAO! Uh, no kidding hey?

HSP = 22

Aspie

Your Aspie score: 183 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 22 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

Question, I did the aspie text a few days ago but just redid it today because I forgot to get my NT score from the first go around. The first time my aspie score was 175 of 200, but I did it again today and it's 183, what gives? Is it because I'm in a bit of a funk today? Has anyone else redone the test and have your score bounce around?

Yes, scores do change. People do change over time, and the questions are to gauge your perceptions (which change), so your scores will change some.

BAPQ: You scored 129 aloof, 126 rigid and 98 pragmatic
You scored above the cutoff on all three scales. Clearly, you are either autistic or on the broader autistic phenotype. You probably are not very social, and when you do interact with others, you come off as strange or rude without meaning to. You probably also like things to be familiar and predictable and don't like changes, especially unexpected ones.

AQ Test: Score; 37

EQ Test Snapshot: Score; 56

HSP Test: Score; 24 (not sure if this is because I'm HSP or because of my HSP-like Aspie traits)

1. Autistic/BAP
You scored 129 aloof, 132 rigid and 118 pragmatic
You scored above the cutoff on all three scales. Clearly, you are either autistic or on the broader autistic phenotype. You probably are not very social, and when you do interact with others, you come off as strange or rude without meaning to. You probably also like things to be familiar and predictable and don't like changes, especially unexpected ones.

2. AQ = 43

3. EQ = 10
SQ = 110

4. Subscale IQ score = 55
Subscale percentile = 0.13

5. You have indicated that 26 of the items are true of you.

6. Your score: 21
A typical score is in the range 22-30. If you scored over 30,
you are very accurate at decoding a person's facial expressions
around their eyes. A score under 22 indicates you find this quite difficult.

7.

8. Your Aspie score: 181 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 16 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

Perhaps you could consider adding the test for alexithymia (difficulty in communicating emotions). It has been found that 85% of HFA also have alexithymia. The most popular test is the Online Alexithymia Questionnaire. The most scientific is the Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20).

What does the "reading the mind in the eyes" result mean? It was really hard!

Snapshot Report
Emotional Identification, Perception, and Expression

Your results indicate that you need to work on improving the skills that can help you identify, perceive and express emotions in yourself and others. Difficulties in this area of emotional intelligence can hinder your ability to read others, to understand how they feel, and to effectively identify your own emotions. Lacking these skills could mean that you struggle to relate to others and may sometimes even question why you yourself behave the way you do. Review the results below for further information in order to identify where improvement is recommended.

5. HSP Test: 22

6. Reading the mind in the eyes: 29

7. Cambridge face memory test: doesn't work

8. Aspie Quiz:
Your Aspie score: 164 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 36 of 200
