Goldfish. I see
is relishing the idea of me losing e everything. This shows you what he is :( .

So making Goldfish21 out to be a villain and you a victim, is a good way to tug on people's heartstrings.

I'm sure you have had a lot of practice at this type of manipulation, after soliciting WP members for so many years.

He's solicited before?

Not quite as directly as this time, but yes.

He's asked for "help" learning things, people point to online resources, he shoots them down and insists only in person hand holding will teach him anything.

He's complained about his stolen items and if only he could a little "help" in replacing these things. etc. Clothing, cell phones, tablets etc as if it's WP's collective problem to replenish his few material possessions.

I get it. He's homeless and a mental health wreck. But that doesn't mean any of his material or financial problems are any of ours to resolve.

What makes it all so much worse is his horrible nasty attitude towards everyone and every bit of advice they offer. IF ASS-P were nice to people, at all, in his general online demeanour, and receptive of helpful suggestions, and would TRY to do anything at all, ever, to better himself or his situation he'd receive more and more help instead of us telling him to f**k off and to quit trying to take advantage of others' limited financial means. IF he had ANY history of positive interactions with ANYONE here people would be more apt to offer actual help, but he's made it his mission to not try to do a damned thing for himself while shooting down every bit of advice he gets and all but demanding that for some unknown reason someone here should open their wallet & garage to solve the problem of his brothers stuff. f**k that.

I was trying to figure out what "p$m, etc.,etc." was... I think it's photos/memorabilia?

ASS-P, I do hope you can find a way to get these things. But I agree with others here, that WP members should not be guilted into divulging their personal information, and these requests need to stop.

...With my illness/incapacuty now, and undersupply of communications devices/links, I am asking for assistancs in getftng the family stuff " safe to land " now, so
so that later on, after getting if safely away from my brothers former place, I could do more with it. He lived in a group home - His stuff that I wants almost certainly amounts to little in mass.
As I have said, I'm really not talking about the cc/uni-applying thing anymore here, so there is no need to harp on it. As I have said, I have no bank/ATM card account now, and haven'y for quitre a while, and have, which I have mentioned on WP I believe at least some, to change that, only to have it blow up on me. My homelessness and illness makes me quite " out if touch " with " normal " life, and once you are, it is hard to be reconnected again :( .
" P/m " is " pictures/memorablia ". I established that abbreviation already. My, Goldfish likes to go on and on about how bad he thinks I am - does he not?
I am in a situation regarding my lifetime-s few memories, Ash - are you experiencing a situation like that?

If it's not that much "mass," can't you get a post office box? I wonder what the size limit of a post office box is.

I just found out: The largest box is 12 inches by 22 1/2, which is a pretty big box and can hold lots of stuff.

But it's like $30 a month---so maybe a storage facility might be better.

Sorry about my bad attitude dude. I'm dealing with my mom's death and a hard decision I may have to make for myself.

ASS-P:

Storage businesses accept cash as payment. You don't need a card or account. You get paid every week & somehow turn that payment into cash, I'm sure. Take some of it and go prepay for a month or two or three's storage and have the stuff sent there. Or have it sent to where you are Now and by the time it arrives in person you'll have gotten paid and secured a storage space for it. It's not rocket surgery stuff we're talking about here. I have accounts, but I pay for nearly everything with cash in person. You can do that just the same as you can pay for Burger King or KFC.

Sorry to hear that, but I was not talking about your attitude. I was talking about ASS-P's terrible attitude.

You'll honor the memory of your brother if you can get his stuff into a storage facility, and you pay for it.

This, potentially, could give you a feeling of accomplishment.

Of course there are. Santa Cruz is a decent-sized place.

But they are expensive.

It's better if he reserves the space in the storage facility, and has the lawyer send the stuff directly there---especially if it's more than a couple of shoeboxes worth of stuff.

Which would require some autistic person to give you their name, home address, email address and pone number and put them under the responsibility of keeping it safe for you.

If he had this small amount of stuff at a group home (we never find this stuff out until many pages later), which is similar to where you are living, then you should not have a problem dealing with it.

It's only a few things that had been kept at a group home.

You harped on it to a huge degree. And if someone were to take care of your stuff for you, teaching you technology and getting you into uni etc would be on the front burner again, and they would be on the hook.

You make it sound like you will never be be able to be reconnected enough to ever be able to store that stuff on your own. You say are too out touch and it will all blow up on you.

...My illness, whole " don't go out " thing, lack of a card at this moment (Incidentally, storage places often do demand mire than just a state I'D, perhaps if you look scruffy. I have mentioned problems with IS a not being enough for USPO boxes and Obamaphones.), my only having this tiny smartphone where the phone does not work, and lack of decent clothes and my transport difficulties make doing as much looking for a place with the low level of information I have about it now hard. Once things have been safely moved and re -set up, I don't anticipate rent for storage being a problem. It is the setting up of it!
Ash spoke to me and I responded.
I am not talking about college or improved tech skills, Ezra, you keep harping upon it.

What space? We now know it's a small amount of stuff kept by a patient at a group nursing home.
