Oooh, yes to the petrol smell. I prefer unleaded to diesel. Whenever I'm at the station filling up my car, I inhale deeply and go "aaaaaahh" :lol:

Paper (usually small bits like post-it notes. I like folding them up)
Cotton
Sticky tape
Water
Towelling
Driving on an ultra smooth surfaced freeway/motorway
Flannel
Cellophane

I like:
the feel of my own fingers. I also like popping the joints of my fingers;
running my hand over and down my hair, though not when it's wet;
tapping my fingernails (which are very long, I hate touching anything with short nails) upon a hard surface;
the feel of the jumpers I wear - except upon my forearms - especially the feel of rolling up the sleeves;
running my fingers across the keyboard of my laptop.

There are other things, but these are my favourites.
my gosh i LOVE the feel of my laptop keyboard. i have had two laptops, both of them tiny ones. my most recent one is an acer aspire one... here is an image for you to get an idea of how crisp the keys feel:
http://www.pcpro.co.uk/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/acer-aspire-one-keyboard.jpg (it's not mine.) (oops that is MASSIVE so i have turned it into a link. :oops: )

mine is even awesomer because it has this incredible keyboard protector that i can run my hands over and it takes away the skitteriness of the surface: it's still crisp, but also rubbery at the same time. LOVE it. i have sneaked many a happy moment pressing a bunch of keys at once with both hands, kind of like a bed of nails, and run my fingers over and over the keys. makes me all giggly just thinking about it. haha

I just found a great one! Put a plastic picnic knife between your front teeth and flick it so that it wobbles. I find the resulting skull vibration to be particularly pleasureable :D

Hugs. Maybe the feel of running water, like in a warm shower. The smell of windmill biscuits, also Mi-Chai Tea which is similar.

popping bubblewrap (obvious, everyone loves that one)
perforating the foil seal on a new jar of coffee

squishing wallpaper paste between your fingers or feet...there is some stuff for kids called JelliBaff which turns bathwater in to gel, all warm and available in purple:heart: :heart: :heart: (and nicer than rolling in mud)

"kneading" a hot water bottle, the noise and smell of the rubber too
Proper silk or silk velvet (yes, I have a couple of pure silk dresses, am amazed I could actually bring myself to leave the house wearing them :lol: )
Mohair, fur, maribou feathers, the feel of a soft paintbrush

Holograms or faceted gemstones
lavalamps

Flattening out crumpled foil sweet wrappers,also have a thing for the coloured cellophane wrappers too
thats probably enough :lol:

that JelliBaff sounds real fun. that would be right up my alley since i have always had a liking for thick deep mud.

I misspelt, it's Gellibaff

and you can see the details here (you can do international orders I think)
Gellibaff
