WP members GF ill with cancer
Guess a mod deleted it for some reason.
hmmm, i wonder why a mod would've deleted it
was there something against TOS in it or something?

Sean, rather than continuously thread-bumping, why not let this thread go until something actually happens? I understand that you don't want it to die, but if you keep making posts that have nothing to do with the topic, people already watching it will start to lose interest and new people won't bother to read.
You could always make a new 'Sean's Twitter' Thread' instead ![]()
Just a suggestion
usually just do so to say i'm going to bed, or to say G'night when i log off so people know when i'm on, so that if i don't reply right away people don't think i'm dodging them and know i'm simply prolly sleeping for example
or in the case of that reply that someone posted that disappeared, i was simply curious.
I'm still sort of wondering why a mod would've deleted it if it didn't violate TOS

That's a valid point, but I think the people who donated money would rather have solid answers to their questions, rather than 'goodnights'
Any word on the gf? Have you considered what Ouinon and others have written? I know it's 36 pages, but since it's your thread and people are giving you money, you probably should read it in its entirety and address the 'holes' in the story that people have pointed out.
Some of the people writing here are work in the medical field and are saying that given the information that we (and you) have, this story doesn't gel. Whilst you are not a doctor and no one is expecting you to be one, you seem to pointedly ignore any holes in the story. Whether you believe that Adrienne really has cancer or not at this stage, by not even addressing peoples' concerns (by which I mean all of them, not just the ones that are easy to answer), to an outside reader, it looks as if you are scared of answering awkward questions. Also, the questions that you have answered seem to rely largely on guesswork rather than facts. This may be why fewer people are willing to donate than you would like.

Which parts did i miss
and i do post solid answers. Just only when i am able to give them.
I've only in the past few days been able to get in contact with Adrienne more.
There was about a week where it was rather difficult to get through where she didn't sound like she was about to fall asleep on me at any moment.
the last few times i've talked to her though, i've been able to get more info 'cause she's been more awake and more lucid. I've been able to get more info lately, which i have posted up.
But my info isn't complete. I'm not exactly receiving extensive detailed reports.
So naturally between some minor mis-communications, and holes in my own knowledge, there has been some confusion on here that i've had to spend most of these 36 pages rectifying and patiently explaining (often numerous times since some posters would bring up already resolved issues because they'd failed to read far enough to know as much.)
i believe some questions have been brought up recently as to the surgery costs.
i put up the original info on that early on when communication was still relatively poor.
She herself didn't seem certain at the time, that was just her guess. & obviously at her age, she's not backing her own surgery financially so i wouldn't expect her to have had a clear idea on that kind of thing since it's not exactly directly medically relevant and i'm not even sure if it's something the doctor would've been more inclined to talk to her about, rather than her mom, who would've been the one to shell out the cash for it anyhow.
Also, i know she said insurance did come into play and cover some.
i only haven't answered that particular question directly thusfar because i was going to ask about the cost again next time i got through to her, and the particular details on that: whether she simply meant that's how much her mom personally was paying out of pocket (maybe her mom's BF was covering the rest and she wasn't counting that), how much the insurance was covering, whether the estimate was accounting for the hospital stays too, or just the procedure itself, etc.
After which i was going to come back on here and report back and see if it seems to fit or not.
i'm doing as best i'm able to keep up with questions, but i'm only human and prone to miss the odd thing or two. Anything that i haven't yet addressed that you feel might need to, feel free to bring it up and i'll either answer to the best of my knowledge, or, if i myself don't know yet, will be sure to ask her when the opportunity arises and get back to you on that

Sean, it's not me you have to answer to, nor will I dredge up all the questions from your thread for you. They're written in the previous 36 pages and it's your job to read through them properly and reply. The reason some of the issues have been repeatedly raised is that you have not answered them (i.e. with actual information, not guesses. Saying 'I suppose...' or 'naturally..' before a sentence does not make it fact)
It should be your responsibility to make sure your information is complete before accepting money towards your cause. Maybe you do not share this view, but many others do. Sometimes people are innocently duped into helping propogate scams, but it is very hard to believe that after the sheer amount of doubt that has been cast on this story that you are completely oblivious and a victim here. By refusing to take the slightest of responsibilities for verifying her story, you are just as guilty as she is, whether you 'know for a fact' or not.

ok, I couldn't understand half of that. It seems you are simply saying that you don't know. Again, putting phrases like 'I wouldn't expect' or 'obviously' before sentences doesn't make them facts, just guesses. In reality, in this entire thread, we have seen very little evidence (only the photos so far showing pictures that your girlfriend says is her) and very little actual explanation. .
I really recommend that you sort out what is a fact and what is just a guess and where there is a hole/unexplained event, rather than 'supposing' why that happened, even if it seems obvious to you, ask her.
taking a hiatus from this thread for a bit.
Next time i post, it will prolly be when i have some update-worthy news.

UPDATE:
about $30 to go until the main goal is met.
Also, just to let you all know, i'll be gone from WP for about a week starting on the 14th.
My grandpa wants to take me & my little brother camping/fishing since he hasn't seen us in a great while.
then i got a doctors appointment on the 23rd that i need to go to to remain eligible for my disability benefits.
moving back into my dad's place at the end of the month when i get evicted.
Once i'm living at my dad's, i won't have to babysit anyone anymore because all my siblings there are old enough there to take care of themselves.
so then i'll finally be in a good position to travel
.
Can't wait to go see her finally

i'd like to thank all of those who have contributed, thanks guys!

If you won't be going until the end of August you shouldn't have any trouble at all getting a plane ticket for less than $500, you might even find one for under $350, ( I noticed that the prices I quoted several pages back drop steeply in September ), which would leave you more for other travel expenses ...
eg. Have you heard from A's mom about whether you can stay at their house/flat or not while you are there? If you can't stay with A, is there someone else that you can stay with not too far away? If not do you know which hotels/motels, if any, you could afford to stay a few/couple of nights in?
I hope you have a lovely holiday camping and fishing with your grandpa.
So, ... 18 days/a little less than three weeks until you ( probably ) travel!! !
Here's looking forward ( with a great deal of interest ) to hearing about the trip in a couple of weeks time!

Good idea. Yeah, i'd imagine things might cost somewhat less by the time i'm able to leave. If the last $30 is donated though, that'd still be nice however since there are other little expenses besides just the ticket. Food during the trip, taxi from the seattle-bremerton ferry to the airport, and of course other things that can crop up along the way etc.. I've looked into the travel costs to some extent, but i don't have personal past experience with a trip of this kind, so potentially i could have overlooked something small, that most experienced travelers would have thought of. Better safe than sorry
& yeah, i'm currently looking at motels and stuff around there, just in case. Her mom says she'll think about it. Though yes, i intend to visit whether her mom let's me stay at her place or not. I noticed on the map there's a few lakes nearby, so possibly there might even be some kind of campground or something around there. if they have a campground within reasonable distance then i might even just be able to pack a small tent with me and just do that for lodgings. It'd be cheap and leave me more for other expenses like food/unforeseen minor stuff/etc.
As for my grandpa & the fishing/camping trip, i think he wants to take me and my little brother up somewhere near the Bonneville Dam. Or, at least, that's what i suspect he has in mind. Should be fun
