I think men are just easier to deal with. They tend to be more direct and also tend to be more interested in content than social niceties. I always feel like women are looking at my messy hair or my clothes that have cat hair on them... :)

I have anxiety around nearly everyone, but in most cases, I have much higher anxiety around people of my own sex (female).

Around women more. I'm starting to learn how to be less anxious there.
