Three reasons. One, my dad would point it out to me, he is VERY big on interacting with others 
Second, my best friend eventually noticed that was my problem.
Third, I knew my brother knew this stuff (he's really good interacting with people, even for a NT) and eventually I figured out there must be some reason.
