I have done no such thing. I used Broca and Wernicke to justify the reality of lateralization--
not the "pop psychology" offshoots.

It seems like you didn't read my post at all. I've acknowledged several times now that the reality of lateralization doesn't justify all of the conclusions that have been drawn in regard to it. I repeat:
Perhaps some people have taken the notion of brain lateralization, and the general characteristics attributed to each hemisphere, and "run wild" with them, using them to draw invalid conclusions. The fact that these conclusions aren't valid DOESN'T mean that the whole notion of brain lateralization is.
