Its simple. Einstein who was by the way autistic invented the formula E=MCsquared. This is the formula describing nuclear power. Applications of nuclear power include the atomic rocket technology used to deflect asteroids that can save a billion lives. Many neurotypical people generally oppose all forms of nuclear power no matter how many lives this technology can save. However neurotypical people really do not oppose nuclear power but rather oppose the father of nuclear power who was Einstein and they oppose Einstein because they think he was an autistic ret*d. They oppose Einstein because they are envious of his great intellectual power which was born out of his imagination and dismiss the imagination of Einstein as "being in your own little world" So the "no nukes allowed" isn't really about nukes at all. What the neurotypicals really mean is "no autistics allowed".

Einstein was the first scientist to achieve celebrity status. He became and remains idolized as a symbol of genius....yes, by NTs. He is not "opposed" by NTs. He's iconic.

And if we are talking about logic, neurotypical people hate it when any problem is approached wholistically or in a comprehensive or an in depth fashion. NT's claim that the autistic is going off topic and is irrelavent when the fact is that if the complexity could be understood by the NT then he would realize the relevance of related topics. To conform to the neurotypical way of thinking simply means a more simple and superficial as well as myopically specialized consideration of problem solving. And thinking outside of the box would be something that a NT would dare not do. And yet NT's think that their way of thinking is the only sane way of thinking and they think that autistics are insane and need to be medicated and cured to their way of thinking.

Utter speculation. Your logic fails on first step.

Quote:

It does not describe nuclear power. It describes the relationship between mass and energy. Fail.

Quote:
Many neurotypical people generally oppose all forms of nuclear power no matter how many lives this technology can save.

Many NT's don't oppose nuclear power. Faulty generalization. FAIL.

Quote:

FAIL. There is no proof that Einstein was on the spectrum. Only speculation. You are also speculating on the existence of an attitude that would require an intact Theory of Mind. You are autistic. Your theory of mind is not 100%.

Quote:
They oppose Einstein because they are envious of his great intellectual power which was born out of his imagination and dismiss the imagination of Einstein as "being in your own little world"

So all of the technology created on the shoulders of General and Special Relativity repudiates Einstein? All of the discoveries in cosmology, all the work in quantum mechanics - this is all evidence of a world that rejects Einstein out of hand because he was allegedly autistic? Since the diagnosis of autism didn't even exist when Einstein published the Theory of Relativity, how did they know that he should be rejected? When Dr Asperger published, did all the paranoid NTs suddenly realize their mistake and decide Einstein was an autistic fool and discard his ideas they so readily accepted for all the preceding decades?

Quote:

So a world full of NT's, that hates Einstein because of his (speculated) autism, that rejects nuclear power because it came from an autistic mind, has built over 400 nuclear power plants world wide because? This same world is spending billions of dollars researching fusion technology because?

Like I said, your logic utterly escapes me.

I think it's great when problems are approached this way. Many other NT people also like to see problems approached this way. And many others don't and want simple answers. That's neurodiversity for you. But you haven't presented any evidence for asteroid collision actually being a problem that needs solving. I saw Deep Impact too and enjoyed it. But it was just a movie. We need to solve real problems (and approach them wholistically and comprehensively), not fictional ones.

I have had that problem sometimes. When the AS person fills in the blanks between the spoken/written topics then I can see the connections. It is a communication gap that is easily bridged.

Different people have different ways of approaching things. There is no one way of thinking, not even among people called NT. I am pro-neurodiversity. I think many different ways of approaching things is humanity's greatest strength. I do not think you are insane or need medication. However I do think you are wrong about the imminence of an asteroid collision, Einstein and NTs. Being pro-neurodiversity does not oblige me to agree with you when I think that you are wrong.

Neurotypicals of course do not directly oppose Einstein. NT's give Einstein lip service and praise. But they indirectly oppose Einstein by attacking his ideas. One of Einsteins ideas was Energy = Mass times the speed of light squared. This formula describes the enormous energy potential of nuclear power. To a neurotypical the Sun is a dangerous nuclear reactor that will go Super Nova and destroy the Earth so it would have been better if the Sun were powered by a lump of coal.

I get it now. You want to be the Glen Beck of autism.

Nuclear power does not have to be a Conservative movement. It could have been central to a new age movement. If that were the case it would have been, at least the fusion portion of it, called star power or the power of the stars. New age hippies would brag that we are made of cosmic star dust and would trust the safety engineers who designed the power plants because they are vegetarians who would not hurt an animal let alone expose anyone to dangerous radiation.

Y'know, if this paranoia and the delusions of grandeur were a bit more concentrated, I'd start to suspect paranoid schizophrenia.

So if one believes that an asteroid is going to slam into Earth they are diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic? I bet the psychiatrist that said that didn't even bother to take one astronomy class. Anyway we already had a near miss because recently an asteroid entered the orbit of the Moon which is only 250,000 miles away. So it's not a matter of if an asteroid will hit earth its a matter of when.

It's going to hit in 2039. NASA's confident they can stop it by then. Educate yourself.

The asteroid bit isn't the bit that makes you paranoid. The fact that you think that NTs are actively prejudiced against you in such a way that would require either a conspiracy or some kind of hive mind makes you pretty damn paranoid, and the fact that you think autism is some kind of superpower that makes you literally thousands of times more intelligent than NTs is most definitely a delusion of grandeur. Might not be severe enough to qualify for the schizophrenia criterion, though.

I followed your link:

"The passage in 2027 could be as close as 37,000 km from the Earth's center (just 19,000 miles above the Earth's surface), but no closer. The miss distance is still very uncertain, and the asteroid could easily pass well outside the Moon's orbit. The probability of a collision in 2027 is essentially zero. "

"There is still a very remote possibility that asteroid 1999 AN10 could pass by Earth in 2027 in such a way as to return in the year 2039 on an impacting trajectory. First identified by researchers Andrea Milani, Steven R. Chesley and Giovanni B. Valsecchi, this scenario is still exceedingly unlikely, but the probability of collision in 2039 has now increased to about 1 chance in 10 million."

Of course NASA has solutions on paper but as of today there is no infrustruture that exists that could stop an asteroid from hitting Earth and killing a billion people. There would have to exist a rocket powered by thousands of atomic explosions in order to provide the formidable defense necessary. Unfortunately such technology is unlikely to be developed because it would face severe opposition from environmentalists who simply are not smart enough to consider pragmatic solutions that interfere with their political agenda.

Figure out a way to get rich solving the problem. Then it will happen.

Maybe an asteroid is natures way of clearing a planet of parasites like humans. Who are you to presume to interfere with a natural process?

If environmentalists think that way then they are no different than Baal worshipers who burn up children to appease the god of nature. And an environmentalist does not have to physically burn a child to perform a sacrafice but rather just by doing nothing will insure the deaths of a billion people. If a fireman sees a house burning and does nothing to rescue the burning children when he has the power to do so is he not just as bad as the arsonist who started the fire? And would the fireman be excused if it was an act of nature which started the fire such as lightning?

Humans are made in the image of God so they have some God like powers which include asteroid deflection. A thousand H-Bombs would have the explosive force of a billion tons of dynamite yet the weight of the rocket would only be in the thousands of tons. Of course a solar sail could be used to deflect the asteroid but the sail would have to be 1500 miles in diameter so it would be impractical to deploy.

And now we want to use banks as a litmus test as to whether or not the project should be financed ? The odds of an asteroid hitting the Earth is so slim that no bank could make a profit financing an atomic rocket for asteroid deflection. But on the otherhand the damage would be so cataclysmic that we as a society really cannot afford to be taking chances so any bank loan should be guaranteed by the government.
