I frequently get into trouble for being too honest. Unfortunately, people around me seem to think I should know what secrets to keep or what to cover up and when I end up telling the truth, they get upset. I finally just figured out I needed to tell people if they wanted me to keep something a secret, they needed to tell me explicitly.

I have learned thru the years NOT to share information about others unless they specifically ask me to do so. Otherwise anything someone tells me I keep in confidence. I have lived by the motto that "If they want someone to know about that, they will tell them personally". It is NOT my place to do so. Saves much heartache in the long run! :wall:

There is no such thing as too honest.
