Favorite: can't decide between WALL•E and Secondhand Lions
Best: a documentaryish sorta movie called Manic.

Lord of the Rings; the Peter Jackson trilogy, NOT the Bakshi/Rankin Bass abomination.

Also up there for me is Shawshank Redemption, The Dark Knight, Pinocchio & the Emperor of the Night, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Devil's Rejects, Planes Trains & Automobiles, Batman Begins, Batman Returns, both Ghostbusters films, among others...
