I agree. I really don't know which one I would prefer. I really am not interested in dating at the moment, but if I ever decide to start dating, all I will care about is finding a person who will be able to tolerate me.

Aspies don't date this poll is pointless .

Yes, they do.

If you say so .

I just find it hard to believe any aspie would think their worthy enough.

The "irritating leading the pitiful" I have not forgotten your commentary Hartz, it made me laugh (that almost never happens  ) and it's now tattooed into my brain forever

If I recall correclty I did ask you if you thought it was a one way street (no response)

Sorry, I am not sure which post you are referring to. Are you sure it was mine?

I thought it was you who said the ASD men at the meet ups ethier "irritated you or arroused your self pity"

Non ?

That sounds familiar. Was it in this forum?

Yes

flat droan like voice etc , apparently you told me things where 'going great" with you aspie mate I was thinking the other day is that still the case ?

Seems it is

Yes, it certainly is still going great. That is why I said that Aspie's date. They even get engaged. 8)

Aspie. Hands down. I like semi-androgynous aspie girls, both as friends and as more.

But then, dating for me is a lot like friends. I'm low-romanticism and low-drama. It takes an aspie to not be bothered by it.

I'm sure someone likes someone like you. Keep looking.

Sometimes someone likes someone like you but they turn out to be in Australia :)

Yeah you are really shooting yourself in the foot there aussiebloke.

I've been told I would love NYC, actually. If only the US would let me work there!

Oh and to answer the OP, so I'm a proper contributor to this thread, I would prefer to date those who are borderline AS or just over the line.

I'm guessing I'd be in the minority in that I actually prefer to be single?

Even after you get work clearance, you have to compete against the best in the world regardless of what field you're in. It's hard to strike a work/life balance, and NY leans heavily toward work. I actually try to get *out* semi-regularly.

I love the neighborhood I live in, but the price of a house here is on the borderline between insane and surreal. I think when the recession lifts the median will leave 7 digits behind and enter the realm of 8.

The pizza is really good though.

I thought Melbourne house prices were bad bad that's ridiculous! (And I think we can compare the two currencies at the moment.) We have good pizza here too I reckon! It's settled then. You can move to Melbourne. Most liveable city. Top 3 anyway.

Reminds me of a quote by Groucho Marx. "I would never join a club that would have the likes of me as a member." I suspect I have the same problem. Anyone who would like me, I start to doubt their sanity.
