My current "obsessions" are the same ones I've always had.

Getting a job was my previous obsession that has since ended. Now, my primary obsession is improvement of social skills.

Secondary obsessions that have recently come about include:

- Watching/comparing/judging/cataloging films
- Perfecting my creative writing skills
- Learning more about electronic music

Secondary obsessions that have lasted a while and persist to this day include:

- Learning as much as I can about psychology and its related fields (e.g. neuroscience, behavioral economics)
- Staying up to date on how the economy is doing
- Improving my programming skills

Currently I'm obsessed with My Little Pony (MLP for short) and Computer Repair. So much that for MLP I have an art blog on Deviantart dedicated to drawing ponies (My favorite being Pinkie Pie) and as for Computer Repair I am going to go to college to get a certification in Computer Repair. It's really interesting how computers are made and what components they are made up of. Those are my two current obsessions.

Pretty much anything related to the Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX / Eagle Talon TSi AWD. My tastes in cars hasn't changed much since I was about 16 but I've slowly been finding faults with the cars I like. I sit down in them at the junkyard and think holy s**t my head is hitting the headliner how is that possible I'm only 5'11". I sit down in a 1995-1999 2G DSM and everything is perfect, my left arm rests comfortably on the door panel, my legs feel comfy on the pedals, my right arm feels good on the shifter. I previously dismissed these cars as being pains to find in decent shape and with the proper engine but I don't care anymore. I would buy a rolling shell with no paint right now if I had the cash and I would store it until I could manage to build a fully blueprinted 2.3-2.6L engine for it. That car would in my eyes be better than anything that can be bought new today (2014 Corvette included). Delete the AC, drop it on some 225 width (or wider...yes wider!) tires, 20G turbo...or bigger! Ohhh it just excites me so much to think of the (cheap) possibilities that platform would offer me.

Right now, none. What happens with me is that I'll do something one day and then It'll be so fun that I'll end up being obsessed with it until I lose interest in it (which is usually after a week or less). For example, If I watch an episode(s) of my favorite TV show on Youtube or on TV or somewhere else, then I'll want to watch more and more and sometimes I'll sit for hours on end watching more of it.

- Deduction, Sherlock Holmes and applying deduction in real life. It is amazing how predicable and easy to read people are.
- Psychoactive plants and funghi, general psychedelic drugs. I think they can be a great tool to investigate the mind, although contraversial. I am currently growing a variety of plants, some of which containing active chemicals.
- General botany.
- Computer hacking and security, especially malware.
- The deep web.
- The nineteenth/early 20th century.
- The UK in general.
- Tea and tea culture.
- Toxicology, autopsy and general forensics.
- General chemistry.
- Memory techniques.
- General biology.

I have many interests...

This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

I am not AS, but am the mom of an AS boy. However, I find myself getting obsessed or( maybe fixated is a better word) on different celebrities. Mainly rockstars, but once I am interested in someone, I want to read as much as I can about them and find out as much as I can about them until I get bored with them and then someone else will spark my interest. I know that I am NT, but I know that my son got some of his traits from me LOL!

My son's special interest has always been car makes and models.

I just finished one (writing a novel) and about to embark on a new interest. I plan to start writing some classical music - piano pieces, chamber music, maybe even a full fledged tone poem or symphony using Finale.

Current obsession is my ongoing assessment and this web site.....
I am almost watching myself for traits and examining my behavioural responses and feelings.. not enjoying it actually.
Wish I could gte back to my car rebuild obsession but don't have the money for parts I need to move the build along..
