This kinda reminds me of primary school where they pick the "head of the class" which happens to be the most popular person.
Well, there's some memories.

Most of the people I like have left here or they don't post much.

I am pleased to see NeantHumain's input.

You are correct, maldoror. I've said the same thing here, previously. This type of thread usually consists of the current in-crowd reinforcing each others ego. I usually have a little wager with myself, before skimming through, as to who will be the main participants. In the old days the mods used to like this kind of thing, and you could be sure that any non-mods who were regularly participating would soon rise from serfdom to those hallowed halls of the inner sanctum.

I mention that because it does demonstrate a point relevant to what you said in a previous post about doubting whether some here had AS. I don't think it demonstrates that, instead how individuals with AS have such a wide range of relative deficits. However, the inability to actively participate in this kind of thread is, I'd speculate, an inability fairly widespread in those who use this site. The ones who do participate, and can worm their way up the social hierarchy are the exception, I reckon. That's not to say they find AS necessarily less debilitating, as they may have deficits in other areas that cause them problems.

I suppose WP is just a microcosm of the real world anyway: there will always be those who are more socially skilled than others. In fact, in the WP context, these people finding themselves in, what is for them, the unique position of being at the top of a social hierarchy will not have had experience to develop the necessary skills to deal with it. But I've not time to expand on that, at present.

The proverbial nail on the head.

No irony, honest...but anyone who can make the word 'serfdom' appropriate to this thread is MY FAVOURITE WP MEMBER!

If I didn't know any better I would be quite hurt by the fact my name wasn't even mentioned once (don't weep for for me), but common sense tells me it's usually the most prominent of users who get all the name-dropping.

OH, OH and Alex too.

*Nudge* Where's my promotion/knighthood?

Alex - he pwns the spammers.

Cockney - generally cheerful disposition.

Hale_Bopp - WP wouldn't be the same without her telling the trolls to piss off.

Prof_Pretorius - flirty.

KBABZ - creative.

Others: en_una_isla, Tequila, ahayes, nirtti_rachelle... I'm sure I am forgetting others, so sorry.

:) Yep, every once in awhile. I mostly do my rounds on my own forum, but even by that time my arthritis is often acting up. Sometimes I'll do MySpace forums too 'cause I've got some surveys going on there and like to check up for any questions that may arise.

But I come on here a couple times a week and browse through General and Members. I just don't seem to post as much anymore.
