I'm not sure if this is an "aspie" quirk or just something I do.

From time to time I get a strong urge to tense all my muscles, pull a really strange face and do a crazy little dance for a few seconds. I can generally control the urge, but let myself do it when I'm at home alone. I will occasionally indulge while my wife and kids are at home. They sometimes laugh in a good natured way, thinking that I'm trying to be silly and entertaining.

Usually I'm frustrated or down when I do this.

I do something similar. I stretch my whole body (back, arms, legs - toes pointed) like a plank several times a day, even in the office. It feels good. Unfortunately, I also occasionally do it whilst sleeping and give myself a calf-cramp so bad that I fall out of bed. However, I don't do the face-pulling or dancing :)

I meow and howl sometimes.
