I haven't really been an active member here since 2013 under my old account. I don't remember too many specific details about individual members, but I do remember that you, Sweetleaf, always stood out as one of the most kind, supportive and intelligent people on this forum. Wrong Planet would be poorer for your absence.
I'll vote for this motion.
Pre 2016 sweetleaf was.
I miss pre 2016 wp.
I wonder what might have caused that.
It's hard to maintain a positive impression of folks who are militant supporters of a rabid racist; you're certainly not the only person within that group who's had people withdraw from them but it's hard to blame the people who withdraw for not wanting to associate with people who are active supporters of his based on what he represents.
Treat others as you wish to be treated.
Isabell and rel don’t like trump but they still my friends, they still care about me and they don’t treat me like s**t over it.
I treat kraft nicely even though he supports people who’d throw me in jail if they had their way for just using my constitutional rights, he hasn’t attacked me for voting for trump either. We disagree on things but still are kind and supportive to each other.
If you see anyone who doesn’t vote for the party or politician as your deep hated enemy than that’s a bad issue you should fix.
That you support horrible attacks on people who vote for trump is upsetting. Even after others telling them they were in the wrong they never apologized and instead doubled down. Makes me wonder if they’re the type who would punch someone for looking like a trump supporter in public like I’ve seen many express on twitter and Facebook and even here on wp.
Should I go around punching anyone who looks like a liberal? Should I say horrible things to all the leftists here?
No personal attacks are wrong. All they’ve done is show they liars. They pretend to be kind to all but they aren’t.
Soldiers can have compassion for their enemy who mins before tried to kill them but average Americans can’t have compassion for other Americans. It’s sad.
Should I and others then rabidly attack them? Or respect their right to freedom to think how they want and treat them the same way we’d like to be.
