Oddly enough when I read something in text , it usually is alittle easier to respond or digest , than in person.

I used to, but I've realised that what people need most is to be acknowledged. To have confirmation that their feelings are valid.

Saying, "I'm sorry to hear that, it must be really difficult." Goes a long way

Yep....I have learned the above is absolutely the case.

Validation is what people seek.
