non-aspies are like the open internet and aspies are like the Tor, i2p and freenet darknets. Cryptic and very interesting.

Irrelevant note: Oops, I necromanced this thread. Anyway I found an aspie friend posted on it and because I had something creative to add, I did!

For a while I played the FIFA football computer games of the EA Sports franchise rather obsessively. In these games there was a create player mode, using a points system where you allocated points against a list of skills using a slider. My notion of having AS has always been that we have an uneven distribution, as would happen when I created a player and used all the points available making him the best possible in certain areas, leaving him very weak in others. Similarly, with AS you will have small, defined areas where you can really excel, while at the same time having areas where you are rather undeveloped.
