Starting An Autism Clothing Line

No its not, shirts were not made available.
Did you forget your brain in bed?
If you're still photoshopping prototype designs, there is no product, Einstein, you're offering a potential product. Don't count your profits before you've invested in inventory.
But good luck selling those. You might want to work on your snappy witticisms, though.
Not many people are going to take autism as an excuse for openly staring at a woman's chest (do you drool, too?), and a great many people with LFA kids might actually kick your ass for being so cavalier about such an insulting idea. Not to mention it only adds to the public misperception that autistic = ret*d.
Of course, I have to wonder about anyone who thinks "You're staring an an autistic's boobs" is funny. If they're not still 12 years old, then maybe...
****IMPORTANT THOUGHT **** about the one shirt that says :
"You're staring at an autistics boobs"......
I know that a guy designed the shirt and probably doesn't know what autistic women go through with NT guys.... but, I'm just thinkin'.....
It could be asking for trouble.... seriously...
I personally would not wear it myself.. and the more I think about it, I don't think other autistic women should either.. unless they want to invite attention from alot of NT guys.... and others as well... for possible exploitation..
Think of something more subtle instead... I know you're just starting this clothing line idea so you probably don't have any printed yet right? I don't have any new ideas to offer just that you shouldn't do that particular one... It could cause alot of trouble in a young woman's life..

I'm with the previous posters who suggested sensory-friendly clothing designed for autistics. I would like to see fashionable clothing made of soft material with removable tags and flat seams - I hate those seams that stick out around the collar of a t-shirt, for example.
I know that some of us get cold easily; I am always looking for extra warm clothing that looks good. You can buy long-underwear shirts that are designed to keep you warm in sub-freezing temperatures, but they don't look attractive. I'd like an extremely warm, soft shirt that I could wear to work or to a job interview without looking like I think I'm going winter camping. Not sure if this is really an autistic thing, though.
It would be nice if some of the comfortable clothes had autism-related text or images and some did not. Personally, I would prefer a more subtle form of expression, like a small image or logo that would only be recognized by people who know a lot about AS or ASD's in general. And I would wear it very rarely. I don't want to talk to lots of strangers about AS. Talking to strangers about anything is stressful enough.

There's no way I'd wear them anyway. I hate slogan tees, and why would I advertise the fact that I'm autistic by wearing it on a tshirt? What's the point in that? If I was going to tell people I'd tell them on my own terms, not by showing up with a tshirt on.
Just my opinion.
