The color can be associated with very pale skin, or thin skin, or of course both. Which can be hereditary. But also thin skin in turn can be associated with hypermobility (it's now one of the skin abnormalities under 'minor criteria' under the Brighton criteria for diagnosis), which at least Attwood claims has some relation to autism. (If you're curious about the Brighton criteria they're
here.)
My non-autistic half sister (who we strongly suspect ADHD) fits these, including being hypermobile and possibly having EDS (I am encouraging she go see a doctor). I have pretty big eyes, but hers are even bigger. I seem to have some hypermobility (interestingly enough, there's this thing I can do with my left arm behind my back, that I can't do with my right, and my dad who's autistic has this same pattern too) too, though not nearly as much.
When I borrow my dad's hat, I always need to adjust the velcro thing to be looser (we're pretty much the same height).
As for my forehead specifically, I don't quite know, though it might be a little bigger.

I mean, not just the big veins, but the little ones too. When it's cold, we get a "mottled" look to us. People always ask if we're okay, sick, if we have a rash, etc. Also, both of us bruise very easily.
That sounds a lot like my older sister, bruising easily, see the veins clearly. I can see the more prominent veins, and am tanned and not very pale, but even without tan I don't see more than the prominent veins.
