Don't tell Me that You have not done anything bad in You life or have you. No matter what Ante has done he is the one that has to live with it not you. So cut him some slack okay.

Or is Sean so PERFECT lets us hope not.

I got one like that yesterday. It said: nirrti_rachelle asked me to tell you that she is romantically interested in you.

When I first saw it, I thought it was quite possible, but had some doubts in the back of my mind. Fortunately, the most I did was try to check the profiles (both the person who wrote and the person "interested").

There is a very nice Russian proverb: "Trust, but verify." I think it fits perfectly.

For the first time since I joined this website, I don't know what to say.

Seriously, this little prank could've had serious consequences. Remember that we have both adults and minors registered here and if a kid gets a PM from someone saying an adult member is romantically interested in them, gets offended and tells her parents, that adult member might be investigated by the police for solicitation of a minor.

Even if they find the adult had nothing to do with the PM, just being under suspicion could ruin someone's reputation. So please, if anyone wants to pull a prank, make sure you think the consequences through.

The one I got was about a minor. I already sent her an email about what's going on since she doesn't appear to have logged on since this happened.

to Ante:
Hey, don't feel too bad about feeling you're not able to connect with people as well as you thought you would here... I wrote a reply to someone before about why that might be

I know that I have learned from my experiences in life that I should usually keep my mouth shut unless I have something dam* important to say, so by force of habit I do that a lot of the time even when that is probably not what the person on the other end of the conversation needs from me. I have a feeling a lot of the aspies on this board are like that, but that does not mean we aren't listening and enjoying your writing.

so y'know, don't feel bad if it feels like we are not connecting, we are all learning to make connections and aspies connect in ways different from other people so it might not always be what you are expecting. And its always hard to convey a feeling of emotional attachment through text, but don't fret

I'm not angry about your pranks... I am still a little mad that you sent that e-mail to the authorities without asking permission from us, but I'll be able to forgive you in time... the rest of your stuff seemed pretty harmless (and you are right that the romantic interest thing made me remember what it was like to think a gal could like me... a feeling I haven't had in a while! but I doubt that was really your intention). But I think you need to stop it NOW, before it becomes too much of an ingrained habit

((BTW, was that WillFill guy one of your trolls? I'm still convinced that guy was a troll))

I don't think Ante has done anything unforgiveable here. I didn't receive any of these PMs, so I have not been affected personally, though. Sometimes this forum needs to be shaken up a little; and, if Ante wants to take the initiative in doing it, that's fine by me.

I am of the opinion that Ante should remain a posting member here.

I disagree strongly that we need to be "shaken up."

I view this board as a refuge of sorts. I don't come here to be harassed, teased badly, or made a fool of by falling for "jokes."

Neant, how would you feel is someone sent you a certified letter that the court had changed it mind and you needed to report to jail on Monday? Humorous? Not really, huh?

The world is mean enough without adding to it.

With that said, I will say that everyone makes mistakes and deserves chances. But that's if they understand it was a mistake and that their action hurt people.
