HELL, I don't even want to be too open with my birthdate.

BTW I currently have access to LOTS of medical data on hundreds of thousands of patients. How do you think people would treat ME if I released it? It is not against any law to release public information. Sorry, but you're 100% wrong.
And since I have nothing at all to hide:

I do not have a Tax ID as I don't own any business
I do not have any credit cards, nor bank accounts
I'm still searching for my last tax statement- I'll post it soon as I'm able to.

When I do, you will notice that I worked in a hospital... in Human Resources. Divulging private medical records is a no-no. But they are not public information as tax information or credit information is.

My experience is that most of the ones I've seen have been substandard in one way or another, so the search for a good one might be something of a long one. I've no real experience of psychologists, so that's just GPs. Possibly the quality is better in middle class districts where the patients might be more assertive and familiar with their rights.

Of course it all depends on where you draw the line of acceptable quality.

Yes.

You can always change doctor.

I've done that before.

You do have to fill out some forms if you want to change practice though.

Yes, that. And I live in Interior Alaska. This means the Therapist Slayer (aka the Lab Pet) has exhausted the supply...run out of places to hide the bodies. We need fresh blood.

Ok, my eye doctor is great - really. My eye doctor actually was able to logically 'know' and relate to my enhanced sensory modality than any psych. This doctor knew of synaesthesia and relation to autism. He also observed a dramatic difference in my visual responses to various stimuli than 'normal' patients. This doctor noted this and logically concluded that this is a feature of autism - yes! Precisely. For instance, I see flicker with fluorescent lights which cycle at ~ 60 Hz. This is a real phenomena (not imaginary) and an eye doctor knows this - he said less than 5% of the human population can see the flicker and even count the cycles. Also, I see extended after-images, which partly describes how/why I can sometimes flash count. This eye doctor totally understood that! He also gave some advice: If this after-image effect, which is like a visual echo, is bothersome, I can close my eyes and it will dissipate faster.

Can a psych do this? Not one I've met. One told me Autism occurs in 1 in 6 people in the general population (NOT kidding), and more, more, more. Just badly confused, painfully illogical, NOT listening, and unwilling to learn. Or even un-learn what they think they might know.

Then it gets hideous.....the one who asked me (direct quote), "Do you want to live in the Real World, or the Autistic World?" And more, more, more. Sick. She bullied and taunted me until I cried, then screaming meltdowns. I'm not ok after her - sheer nightmare.

NocturnalQuilter: That's astounding.......but one doesn't have to reveal that stuff - it's private. Of course, you may disclose if you wish, but...why? Ok, just have to ask: Can you post a naked picture of yourself too? What's your religion? Who did you vote for? How's your sex life? Nothing personal, but since we're on a roll......

That's horrendous.

What is the real world anyway?
I doubt she could define it.
I certainly can't.
Even the greatest philosophers and scientists are struggling to define the concept of the "real world".

I'm shocked that she thought that her interpretation of the world was superior to other people's.
Her attitude smacks of intellectual snobbery and complete disregard for the humanity in other people.
She didn't want to help you at all: that was abuse.

If she ever reads this...

We all live in one world.

It's called Earth.

And we have to live in it together.

What with identity cards with biometric data and all we might all have to do just that.

We could all be living in a "1984" style world with 24 hour "Big Brother" style surveillance in a few years time.
Lovely
*sarcastic*

Goodbye privacy and minding one's own business.
Nothing will be sacred any more.

In the late 1960's there was no interest in Autism,Asperger syndrome and appertaining to Asperger syndrome in particular. There was no information in the English speaking world on Asperger syndrome so in my case I saw this doctor in 1968 in London, England who labelled me incorrectly as having brain damage of which all I was was an Aspie but the doctor was too much of a plonker to realise this. I was drugged up to the eyeballs with various drugs including diazepam and probably marijuana in liquid form which would have been put in a soft drink. So my family having this delusion (thanks to this imbecile of a doctor) that I had brain damage so I was treated like I had AIDS or cancer. I was susequently but in the human dustbin called the special needs system.

There was information on Asperger syndrome (in German) but in the 1960s it was illegal to learn German in Britain.

That thing about the fluorescent lights is fascinating. I'd never heard that before.

Sadly a very apt way of describing it.

The Human "Reject Bin".

Sorry- I honestly don't have any naked pics- and I think my partner would not be happy if I did post one.
I do not subscribe to any religion.
I voted for Obama.
My sex-life is pretty non-existent (Paxil-induced selibacy) much to my partners' frustration.

BTW with the information you released, I might be able to get your medical records! I'm ALMOST tempted to see if you are on the national system I currently have access to right now just to PRIVATELY show you how much you gave away. Oh well, there is only about a 13% chance you might be on the current system I have direct access to anyway. It would likely be considered a breach of ethics anyway, especially since that might be someone ELSES info.

I certainly didn't expect you to give that much info away. HECK, I was spamed once by a place that offered LESS info for as much as $50! They offered credit card info for those wishing to commit fraud.

Isnt Hair colour rather extraneous information in this day and age of dying? What do they do? Check collars and cuffs match?

PLEASE do us a favor(you as well), and remove your info. I kid people by asking for such things, to show how ridiculous it is. You really ARE being FAR too open. Your "partner" is really a LUCKY person to have someone SO open, as long as you aren't so open about them, but it really IS best to not spread it around.

Personally, I wouldn't do ANYTHING with that info. I don't even cheat at tests. But SOME might. ALSO, if you were under 13, Alex would have to censor everything due to C.O.P.P.A. Luckily, for him, people 13 or older are exempt.

BTW Hair color, eye color, and even SKIN color can be changed well. And many blacks have caucasion characteristics, and some people calling themselves white have black characteristics. And Asians, and american indians, today, go ALL OVER the map. So WHO KNOWS! You know, the blood antigens are often present in semen and one rapist was once CLEARED of having committed rape because he was the wrong blood type. They later found that semen and blood could be DIFFERENT! They usually fit the pattern, but sometimes they don't.

While I admire your courage and upright honesty...

All joking aside, there are identity thieves and stalkers around on the web.

This is why I never publish my personal details and try to maintain some anonymity.

It's frightening. I have known people who've had their identity "stolen".
Identity theft is more common than you might think.

You are welcome to search, find and exploit anything to your little hearts' content. As I 've said, I have nothing to hide. And I certainly have nothing to fear.
Although, I certainly take issue with even the slightest insinuation that I would post someone elses information in place of my own. How rude!

Since my FICO (sp?) score is in the toilet for life I have nothing to fear from having my identity stolen. Most crooks probably have a better credit history than I do.

I am sorry for the apparent insinuation. And that WAS before the DL image. I was just saying. And I don't want to do such things.

WOW, FICO scores USUALLY improve within 10 years.
