Lucky Star is amazing, and I am probably the only guy who likes it.

Well, cmastler, you pose a very good question...

Honestly, I don't think I'll ever stop finding certain animals and things cute. Even though I'm mid-30's (sorry if that disillusions you) my mind is strongly like that of a young teenager. As a consequence, it can be a bit disturbing for others to see me suddenly go "Oooooh!! KAWAII!" when I see a *very* cute plushie animal on display in a toyshop window. ('kawaii' means 'cute' in Japanese)

*sighs* Honestly, I think I love too many things that would be considered 'girl-ish'; certain Japanese anime characters can do that for me, with Chiyo-chan from "Azumanga Daioh" and Pudding from "Tokyo Mew Mew" being the best examples.

Maybe I should just grow the hell up and start watching football like a NORMAL man. :?

I do like cute things but it can be overdone. There are certain things that are way too "cute" that I often say "That's way too cute that my gluclose level just hit the roof."

I'm girly, and I love cute things. Though certain things I find "cute" might be considered weird or disturbing to others, lol.

Nooo.... Please, usagi...please don't diside to 'grow up'. I like that there are OTHER people like me out there! Soo please...

We 'cuteness' fans need to STICK TOGETHER. :D Espesally the odd-balled ones....

And I hate the phrase 'grow up'....it anger's me like hell, it make's me think of not being able to 'turn back', like i'm being BANNED from stuff and overall, life....*sigh*

...is there such a thing is 'too cute' no longer bothering people when their adults, though?...just asking....

And uhhh...what kind of stuff do YOU find 'cute', IdahoRose? o.o You can PM me, if you want.....

...is everyone here SURE you can't just like 'cute' things to feel like a 'kid' inside? x.x As in...'young at heart'? Does that even...EXSIST? ;_; Only if you become a parent it does? Or, NOT AT ALL? Is this really a girlish/boyish type of debate? x_x This is getting a little creepy......no, seriusly.....i'm scared as hell right now..........

I feel as if eveything I was taught as a child...was a LIE. Nothing but...a LIE...I'm living a LIE.....I hate this....

Prehaps I shoulda explained this sooner........

The reason I am soo attached to 'cute' things is that I miss being a FRICKIN' KID which is spelled K-I-D, mind you, TOO much. I just wanna be 'young' forever...at heart, at least...HOPEFULLY....but now I fear that it's all a lie--it doesn't exsist, it's just a stupid catchphrase the MEDIA just...MADE UP!! ! Just...to...who KNOWS what the reason...I feel soo....ANGRY!! !! !.......*sob's*

Ummmn...i'm really sorry, everyone....

I SHOULDA explained it sooner! But...*sigh* It's not like it woulda helped...at all...

How is the human race still standing? Why am I still standing, too....why......

........
I HATE modurn day tecnolagy...a lot......stupid, manipulative......*sigh*
......
..........
.............
....
...But, thanks for commenting this as a 'good question', usagi...that's was really sweet of you.....

I feel sick right now...mainly (i dunno anymore...) cause I woke up waay too early for that ppg marathon and had too much ice cream today, though. xD Ummmm...but my head DOES hurt, too.....

I'm going to bed...goodnight....

*sigh*...ok, i'm sorry...ok....*sigh* whatever.....

*thinks about this question* I certainly do like cuteness, but I often find that things most people think are cute can be too cute for me - cute in a sickly sort of way. I love soft toy animals, for instance, but I prefer the realistic-looking to the pink, exaggerated, anthromorphic ones.

You will always be a kid at hart it you want to be.
The saying "young at hart" means you feel like a kid even though your an adult.

I am almost 22 and I still get excited over halloween and all the holidays. If I had my way I would be climbing trees all the time.

I love skiping through the house singing.
When I see a crow I have to go "caw caw " even if I look like a crazy woman.

I act like a 6 year old in an adult body.

I'm not always like this, there is a time and a place for that kind of behaviour but I still do it.

Perhaps what your feeling is the pressure of acting "normal" what ever normal is  .

Just know that you can bring back your inner child any time by just being yourself.

Good luck!

Hmmm...intresting post.

It's not soo much 'acting' normal that pressures me, it's 'feeling' it. I just didn't like how 'normal' FELT...soo I, NEROLOGICALLY, MENTAL, on the deep, deeep INSIDEly--rebeled. I sorta regret it too, but I also find it intresting. The way I rebeled is soo embaressing, though...but I also don't feel like giving up. Intresting situation, isn't it?
...I wonder how this will effect how I am as i 'grow', whatever that means, too. lol

I am, however...starting to be a little more understanding and figuring out of the world, though. It also apper's that one CAN try to b more 'neutral' to something they dont like much when they get older, too....hmmmn...

I still may need this topic, though...good for asking questions when I need them, anyways...cause you never know.

I just hope this obsession doesn't drive me to being enemies with my mom... I do kinda worry about that (she can be such a DEEP person sometimes, anyways....soo yeah.....I dont wanna talk about her, if thats ok.).

And To Tweety (once again): Wait...your 24?! 0.0 But...I thought you were...well....a lot younger...

I thought you were only 10-11, really. xD Of course, this IS an Autisum forum...but...still...wow o.o

That's WAAY older than ME, even! 0.0 And yet you like Hello Kitty...awesome. Thank you for sharing with us, your age...n-n and, yes, well...you don't have to beleve me that i'm 18, but i am. Pretty much..lol

Well, I am 2 people... The one most people see, which is more normal than the other. The other is who I really am, and very very few, if any see this person. This person is the 5 yold that I am more like than the 18 yold body I have. I am who I am though, and I can't change that. Oh, and Lucky Star is amazing, if you are into anime, and the kind of cute characters, with a little sense of otaku style humour, it is the best thing ever.

I'm addicted to cuteness.

Hello Kitty.
Fluffy toys.
Animals.
Pink.

But I'm also a total tomboy. HMMM!
