I nominate Ragtime for fearlessly posting his personal/religious beliefs. 8)

I nominate KikiyosonlyOnigirl as Best Otaku for keeping obsessive aspie otakudom alive on this forum.

Also nominate Orwell as Best at Laughing-in-the-Face-of-Mindf**ks for not only laughing with me when I pretended to be a government agent in the fight against the vaccine-autism YouTube conspiracy theorists, but also playing along in planning a government assault on them. That was wicked awesome. 8)

I Nominate Fidget for Best Video-Game Based Avatar - but then again I love The World Ends With You so I'm biased on that note.

Finally, I nominate philosopherBoi for Best at Recognizing Random Fandoms for being the only one on the forum that I've talked to that supports the Rebellion (in other words, he knows about Code Geass.)

TWEWY was an absolutly amazing game. I think otakus are amusing to say the least, and every aspie has been an otaku at least once in his/her life.

Lessee - me being different, even from the 'different'...;)

I'd like to nominate PetitePrince for blowing away my impressions of what people in the Mideast could be like ( and that's a good thing...nothing better than a stereotype blown away)

Mithratowen (sp?) - just jumpin' on the bandwagon...;) honestly, for all this talk of what an AS 'face' looks like, you don't show it (but then, I'm still trying to figure out what that face looks like in the first place). Honorable mention to Hale-bopp, proving that any type of people can be 'beautiful people'

Strapples for 'most restrained' person in the forum..whatever that means...;)

Timtex - well, we Texans gotta stick together. The only way he'd leave here was if his fingers fell off...but with 2 million posts or so...;)

Shiggly - for proving 'girls' can be good at math (actually that some girls are better than most boys...;)

MissConsrtue - for being herself. Don't never change

Fnord, for being a fellow '50-someting', GaryWW (I think that's right), for standing up for our fellow geezers, and showing we can have a head on our shoulders...;)

and to all those others who speak up and post, and the lurkers yet to post; we all look forward to hearing from you...

First year math at University of Waterloo is 50/50 male/female, and 90/10 asian/everyone else... and that is in a primarily white city and most programs at this university are 50% asian at least. I am twice the minority here, I am a disabled white. Thats (1 in 200)/50000 roughly

Random post is random.

Perfect award!! !

I really don't nominate, but sometimes I remember Starbuline and her strength. And I remember crying (a lot) when she died.
I'll always vote for spudnik though - don't feel sad spudnik.

Fnord - new WP Shaman nomination - -having recently ousted Lobrojo. also gets nomiated for best and most hilarious arguer.

I can not take full credit for this award. Dussel deserves this award as much as, if not moreso, than I for his hard-hitting factual rebuttals. At the very least, it was an unplanned tag-team effort.

So, on behalf of the team, I accept this award.

having just re-read the thread, i am in agreement with you regarding Dussell's equally stimulating input.

so...Dussell..i hope you will, in the name of fairplay and objective appraisal, also accept this nomination for new WP Shaman.

perhaps the two of you can ponder ulitmate supremacy over a pipe or two, or the imbibing of some lizard scale juiced with vine roots.

:) Yay. I've been nominated for something. :) I think it's fitting, since elephants have always been one of my favorite animals, and I've used this particular avatar several times over the years here. :)
