Do you ever pace back and forth or walk in a circle?

I used to pace in clockwise circles around the kitchen at my parents' house. There is no space big enough for circular pacing in my apartment  I'd do it when I was nervous, excited, angry, sad, just about anything. Now that I can't, I find I've been rocking and spinning in my chair more.

Right after a teacher broke my habbit of rocking I use to ride my bike in a tight circles for hours from 2nd grade to 6th grade my dad made me quit when I almost ran into his car when he was pulling in because I did not see him. I would do it by the side of the house and garage so no one could see me doing it.

I pace back and forth in the house all the time it makes my brother nervous.

I go for long walks were I walk five miles. I am in my own world when I walk. I have walked passed people I have known for years and did not notice them.

Before I hurt my ankle in the 90's and got fat I use to run two miles everyother day and 4 miles on Saturdays running in a circle was great

I like to pace a lot. I combine it with other stims - touching the wall when I reach the other side of the room, making various hand gestures with my left hand, and toe-walking.
