I obey noone else than myself. I'm a student in electrical engineering, began my master degree this year. If cannabis would've been so bad, I would've never been able to get 87% in exam where I was high. It helped me focus on my exam instead of surrounding noise. I got an average of B, but that's only because I hate studying, and when I do, to be able to study more than 15min I get high which enables me to study 2-3 or more hours.

I'm the only master of who I am! Noone else is, nobody pushed me into cannabis, I never took this to make friends, but helped me keeping them because of the anxiety reduction.

That's the drugs talking. You are lucky if you survive a month in a real job the way you are tinking! Why didn't you just quit the course and get a less stressing job?

I'm all for legalizing Cannabis 100%. I think that if it were to be legal, there'd be less drug trafficking (for marijuana at least :?) and the government could use legitimate sales to their advantage by taxing them. Also, there would be less people with drug convictions on their record for using/possessing/selling and more space in jails for actual criminals. It's the most ridiculous thing to screw up someone's life or record over weed...in my opinion.

I do believe some people should not smoke it though, as like all drugs it can affect each individual differently. For Asperger's it would probably be helpful. I've also read that some people use it to relieve side effects from their anti-depressant prescriptions.

Yeah, I got stupid because I smoke weed. I'm going to be the first student in my university that will use the clean room. A room with capable of producing 5000-10000 batch of LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic) circuit. A new kind of circuit production method. Instead of having 6 or 8 layer of interconnections you can have up to 22 or more and include discrete component (closest thing to high production of nanotech). This room was created 2 years ago. I must be somekind of looser pot head with no future to work in such kind of place. Well I'd be if I'd listen to you Lonermutant!

Well 2 things real quick, one I figured with how passionate you are about your anti-cananbis and anti NT stance you would have had a rebuttal for my last response to you.......and for the second thing, you're really going to actually insult people for having a different lifestyle then you after complaining about how everyone who smokes cannabis is a mindless robot? Apparently you only want people to obey how you think one should live it would seem.

So you would be claiming that 90% of pot smokers are NTs that only smoke it to be cool while disreagarding the people who are prescribed medical marijuana, people who self medicate with it, people who smoke because they just like getting high?

The people who do it "just to get high" are the robots. They really do it because everyone else is. I also believe that the medical thing is a fad. There are tons of medications that work as well, but people insist on being "counter-culture" and use pot just to piss off the authorities. The medical thing is just a facade. The people who self-medicate should try actual medications, but they are probably too counter-culture or "cool" to do it.

You're speaking out of ignorance and lack of experience, so I forgive you. I won't bother correcting you, because your ignorance is punishment enough

My career doesn't involve any drug tests.

I have three jobs outside of going to university, and JSMC also has a skilled job

But nice try little buddy!

You should lighten up, you're not accomplishing anything by acting like a prick. Take a break

I don't have a problem with pot...just the people who smoke it. Every pot smoker I've ever known has always had that jerkass "holier than thou" attitude over smoking it and demean others who smoke tobacco, drink alcohol or have to take medication.

If legalizing pot can get rid of this attitude, I might be for it. It will be so hard for me to let those kinds of people win their fight considering how much I've been pissed off by them.

Meh, there are people like that in every demographic. I refer to them as a**holes, don't let them speak for the rest of us who just want to live in peace and work our jobs

Keep wallowing in your misery. It doesn't mean everyone else has to. Oh and being different for its own sake is pathetic. I don't write with my left hand just to spite the majority.

@ raisedbyignorance: Those are just douchebags. You've probably only known some loser potheads. A substance shouldn't be illegal just because you don't like some people who happen to smoke weed. That's just petty. I'm not gonna be in favour of making skateboards illegal just cuz some skaters are douchebags.

Why would I need to pass a drug test? In the next week I will do the necessary to get my cannabis consumption under medicinal control. I will even tell the police that when I'll have the right to grow it in my house.

That doesn't make any sense to me at all. Curiosity is aroused by many things and I certainly wouldn't include "obeying others" in such a list.
You have no other reason for posting here except 'because others are doing it'?
That's pretty depressing, I have to say.

And for what it's worth - if I could get hold of a little stash of sweet, fresh Skunk then I'd be thoroughly enjoying it right now.
