@ iamnothuman. You certainly ARE human. Either you are expressing a desire to be more than human or believe yourself to be subhuman. Neither of these are true.

I'm sure you are fine. Please also remember that your own state, emotions, beliefs, self-love are perhaps the most attractive thing. Even to very visual males - eventually.

If you are healthy then you will be attractive.,

Finally, do you know it was directed at you or is that just the worst possible interpretation and you chose to go with it? Either way, ignore it. I've heard women call brad pitt "foul" and "ugly" same for many famous people.

To the poster above, you look fine and are not wearing make up. Google celebs without makeup and you will be shocked. They dont look so perfect anymore. Your looks are fine, your style is unclear. Grow the hair a little more and take the red thing out and take off the polo shirt and you can cultivate a good look. Very good blue eyes and overall shape of the face. Personally I've noticed I look very good in pictures when I dont know they are being taken. Some part of me feels stupid and self-conscious when I have a picture taken and it somehow shows. Being a model is actually more than just having a good face, it does involve "blue steel" and all certain expressions they often adopt that gives them more confidence that shows.

You're not ugly.

However, I think your post hit on something important- your saying that people don't look you in the eye. I notice this a great deal- that NTs don't look me in the eye because they don't respond to a combination of my appearance, presence, and communication style. (I used to think it was because I was ugly, but I now realize it has more to do with my lack of presence than physical appearance.) Yet Aspies are always expected to make eye contact.

Let me ask- do you stand up straight? NTs can sometimes read this as closed body language and then be uncomfortable.

Do you notice that people don't make eye contact with you in one-on-one conversations? If I'm in a one-on-one conversation and the person doesn't make eye contact with me, I smile and say to them- let me move over here so I can look at you while we're talking. This actually helps me convey interest and I usually find that the other person becomes more engaged as a result.

Thank you, answeraspergers and whirlingmind. I just kinda feel too different alot of the time. And I wish I could be alright for my amazing, loving, boyfriend. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can contain a relationship, without me exaggerating about how I look most of the time, or being moody on and off? My guy deserves the best, and I love him dearly, and would do anything to make myself a better person.

Ugly? Huh, if I were 25 years younger I'd fancy you. :-)
The contrast between your dark hair and your light skin is gorgeous, and I like men with glasses.
If you really think you are ugly, what do you think you should look like to be handsome?

The comment itself and especially the reference to the skin makes me strongly believe you have Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

YOU LOOK FINE!

You look great, you have a perfect hairline and no facial features that stick out and nothing u even need to worry about. Your skin looks great. No huge scars from acne. NONE. I can't even see any bad skin.

Stop worrying man! Be confident, dress well and be kind to people.

Smile, be happy and read up on Body Dysmorphic Disorder which will be part of the OCD spectrum. :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

At least you don't look like Mr. Lanza. He was what I would classify as ugly (and not just in terms of looks). BTW, I have a constellation of scars courtesy of a German Shepard, a big pointy nose (thanks to my Ashkenazi half of the family) and squinty eyes, which are reminiscent of Trollface. Come to think about it, Trollface would be a good costume for me...

I just don't get it. When somebody says they are super ugly and then show their picture, and it turns out that they are normal looking youngish people, it must be one of two possibilities.

1. They don't know what the word ugly means.
2. It's not them in the picture.

What's the point of living if I'm going to be autistic AND ugly? I feel like killing myself.
Here's a picture of me, except my skin is 10x worse than it looks:

It's most likely skin deep, but still, not exactly a good reason to believe in "God" if he's going to punish somebody like this.

WHAT? You're not ugly. Who said you are?

My default Aspie response:

"No, you're not ugly, just completely deluded!"

Your not ugly all your features are fine.
Also I have fixed the image you had it squashed.

Image

Your face looks totally normal.

What looks odd is your hairstyle it does not suit you nor do those glasses.

Your face is fine it's the way you hold it no smile with a dead serious stare.

I also have that stare.

If like most of us here you have Aspergers you are use to not fitting it and you blame your looks.

You look totally fine however you hairstyle along with those thick framed specs do not portray confidence.

Thin steal rimmed specs and tight hair style and maybe a more relaxed less serious expression.
