Its not about Hitler its about being dehumanized. When the average German citizen saw the propaganda posters they thought it must be true no one tore them down so they must be true. We're talking two completely different animals here, though. Anyone with half a brain knows the demotivation posters are purposely offensive. Propaganda posters were used because they honestly believed that crap.

I get what you're saying about dehumanization, but I just don't see the big deal. It's not like demotivation posters pick on Autism only. Everyone and everything is fair game.

I have seen demotivational posters that are quite funny, because they poke fun at corporate culture and BS sayings. but there are the ones like this that are just wrong. I saw one making fun of a poor woman who had been burnt and horribly disfigured in a car crash. It's not funny. There are some seriously sick sphincters out there.

Basically, he's a Scottish comedian who makes gratuitous fun of rape, paedophilia, murder, child abuse, people being in car crashes, generally every sick and tawdry subject you can think of he plays for laughs. Some people love him but I can't say I do. He's frequently in the news here. I bought his book and it's funny for the first few pages… but then you realise you've got another 200 pages of his self-indulgent tripe.
