I wear earplugs, mostly for sleep to keep outside noise from waking me up. I would also take them with me to places that have loud noises, for example a fireworks show.

My glasses turn into sunglasses when sun hits them. Spiffy :)

I cover my ears on a lot of noises most NTs don't bother with, and I wear ear plugs in anywhere that isn't quiet. If I don't have plugs, Ill hold my ears (even for an entire movie).

My eyes are quite sensible to light so either I wear sunglasses or I prepare to wipe away tears from the sun meeting my eyes/explain why Ive been crying to someone, who will think Im making this up(sunglasses are usually at my car because I need them most when Im there but I forget to take them with me some days)

I wear earplugs from time to time.
Most people find the latter one too antisocial so Ive tried to find a decent pair that can be easily hid when Im meeting some friends

I wear earphones and listen to the radio or music when I am outside like 90% of the time.

I have misophonia and sometimes ear plugs help sometimes they just magnify the sound by blocking out most sounds except the sounds that trigger me. Sometimes I have to play music through my earphones just to function. I tend to have to wear them in the house more than outside because there are a lot more noises in the house like the air going up the water heater and furnace pipes into the chimney, the AC in or the fans in the rooms. The AC is fine because it is like white noise but sometimes the ceiling fan makes this clicking noise if it's on a high setting and that can be bad. And our street is relatively busy so cars drive by all day and that makes me crazy if they have loud stereos. And some of the kids will bounce a basket ball on the sidewalk and that is really bad too. It feels like it invades the part of the house that is closest to the sidewalk.

It can be very hard to block out trigger sounds since I fixate on them and they can come through even with music playing. I try to play it with earbuds as softly as I can get away with because I don't want to damage my ears and sometimes the louder I try to play the sound to block out the trigger sound, the louder the trigger sound seems to get and it keeps coming through. But I think my head holds on to the sounds too because sometimes that battle just gets ridiculous, turn up the buffer the trigger gets louder, turn up the buffer again and the trigger catches up. So in the end I take the headphones off completely and then I realize the trigger sound is no longer there. So I think my brain holds on to it sometimes because it is so invasive it sometimes does not even realize that it has ended. And sometimes my body takes a long time to recover if a trigger sound is really invasive like if someone drives by with huge subwoofers.

Sometimes wearing earplugs or earbuds can hurt as well so if I am really sensitive it can be hard to wear them.

I wish I could use sunglasses all the time because of my anxiety in social situations. Earplugs have never worked for me....they are extremely uncomfortable, don't block sound as effectively as i'd like (unless they are crammed practically far into the eardrum which is harmful), and I get an earache the next day. Probably wax build-up causes this. i've also read of people getting tinnitus (anecdotal) from long-term use. Earbuds fall out of my ears. My head is too big for most headsets (the mega ones that are supposed to block sound), but I can use regular headsets for music. Who knows, maybe there are noise-cancelling headphones large enough to fit a large Aspie head LOL

I used to wear sunglasses as a kid, but I lost interest after I realized I was generally okay and I didn't like carrying them around.

Headphones on the other hand I use all the time. I have a closed pair (noise canceling and such) that I use when I go outside and walk. I put on whatever music I feel like and everything is good. I have an open pair that I use at home which I like better (more expensive as well). It doesn't do much for removing noise, and actually makes it worse (since you can still hear everything). The quality is too good though.

There is one called the World's Greatest Earplug. You can get it on Amazon. Sometimes it works really well for me. It is made of beeswax and lanolin so it is very natural and it's huge and feels like playdough so you can break it and make it smaller if you need to. There is a bit of a learning curve to put it in right though so you have to be patient. I use it a lot but my ears can be touch sensitive so I can't use anything in them too often. But when it is in right it is the most effective plug I have ever used. And it is comfy for sleeping. Make sure your ears are clean of wax and pull your hair out of the way when you put it in though or it won't seal and it won't work. But it makes a complete seal so it works and it's great for swimming too.

I wear reactor light glasses, since I have poor vision as well, I discovered it is more comfort where the glass changes its tint depending on the suns intensity. I often wear headphones when at home to switch off and concentrate on my own thing.

I don't care for social situations when this type of glasses is frowned upon. Comfort, safety and health comes first.

I wear sunglasses even in a modicum of sunlight. I wear earplugs for sleeping, but they fall out of my ears every single night! I have rather small ear canals and so I fit them to my ears and then they swell up (they're made of a foamy sort of material) and fall out. It's so frustrating!

Sun glasses or a big hat.
