It may be a pain to find this all out and then ask for another referal if necessary. But it would probably really be worth it. Women aspies seem especially harder to diagnose unless the diagnostician is really experienced with them. Children look different than adults, and males look different than females. Someone who's experienced in the whole range is the surest way to ensure yourself a diagnosis.
I've sent them an email and am waiting for a reply. I'll let you know what they say if/when they get back to me.
