Just to show you how disjointed I am with conversational things (and, I am better here because I can ponder before replying) I really did not understand if it was a sincere thanks for the link (Yes for everybody, but mainly for you since you like it too, and that was my hope) or, was it sarcasm about the Special Interest thing. I can really go full Aspie on it and Star Trek. Star Wars sorta, but not so much.

So, thank you for clarifying. This is the first time in my life that I can say things like this without worry of judgement and grateful for acceptance. :)

it is interesting that if people think you are smarter than them, they will go on wild goose chases to be the first to decipher what you really meant with some inane utterance.
here on this forum it is obvious that i am not being serious, but in reality, there are many interesting scenarios to explore.
after finishing impressing them with some logic or another that truly solves a question they pose, it is always a recreational release to then get them on the hunt for meaning in random lines i say to them that are senseless.
it is intriguing to see what they will imagine from it.

life is fun in ways.

I was just being jocular in a simple sense.

I learned a phrase when I was very young, "If you can't bedazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with BS." Got me through many a tough time in social situations. Honed my skills with one liners and non sequiturs. Maybe that why the more abstract some of them are, I get better.

Ha, just too much thinking, from reading all the creative metaphors on the thread. Requires some extra mental effort to imagine and process. Some very clever people on here and it's hard to keep up.

Learning produces an excellent type of pain.

Sometimes, when I'm forced to think abstractly, I literally feel my brain stretching!

I speak often in metaphors and analogies. And I can often find ways to find similarities among unlike things when others can't, so others don't often understand the frames of reference. Not like I give a crap.
