Of course they are giving away a NEW car. They wouldn't give away an old car.

Contestant: "That car is a jalopy!"

Host: "It's new to you, isn't it?"

Oh man...I made a new friend and talked to him for about an hour. I'm so exhausted. How do they socialize for so long and make it so effortless?

I was totally autistic in aldi yesterday and it felt so good to just stand in the aisle rocking and waving a bag of crisps about

It was bliss and I didn't even care that the shop was full

My daughter just gave me "the look"

Sometimes I want to say things about my own personal experiences of living with Asperger's syndrome but there's not always a thread already made that I can relate to and I don't always think it's worth creating a thread for so that's why made this thread many years ago

I can pick up the faintest of smells if I find them offensive. My smell sensitivity can be quite heightened.

I can't stand perfume counters in department stores

When I was a kid it was almost physically painful for me

It's taken me many years to come round to my diagnosis but I think I'm finally starting to accept it

I've just had so much other stuff going on in my life that was masking it all

I think coming around to accepting a diagnosis like Asperger's can be quite daunting for some people.

I'm glad you are on a journey of self acceptance.
