No, I've never had the desire to smoke. I remember visiting my grandmother in the hospital when I was 6 years old, after she had been diagnosed with cancer that was caused by her being a lifelong chain smoker. It scared me to see how sick she was, and she passed away just a couple years later. I also have a severe phobia of fire and I can't even light matches. I don't think I could even use a lighter to light a cigarette even if I really wanted to smoke.

From what I have read , both nicotine , and THC can help to manage the symptoms of such neurological conditions as Tourette syndrome , for instance . https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=odzu84kYZT4 , https://discovermagazine.com/2014/march/13-nicotine-fix , https://www.marijuanadoctors.com/conditions/tourettes-syndrome/ , https://www.nhregister.com/news/article/Marijuana-studied-as-treatment-for-tics-of-12454474.php I myself have not tried either , especially since I am still living with my folks , whom are rather strict , given their Holiness Christian beliefs . So right now the only substance I regularly take is GABA .

I vape weed nightly at a rate of less than 1/8oz every two months. Used to smoke much more but now it’s just maintenance to reduce nightmares and help with GI problems. Been using it for almost 20 years now and there’s no doubt it helped with many of my symptoms.

Only really ever smoked cannabis with other illegal drugs. Which incidentally i haven't used any of for over 20 years now.

I have no problem with other people using tobacco or cannabis etc.
I am an advocate of freedom of choice movement.

Decriminalise / Rehabilitate / Support / Educate / Save life!

Personally, although i don't like to smoke tobacco or cannabis, i do like an alcoholic drink or two every now and then.
I also like a nice cup of decaf coffee in the morning and a few diet soda's every day.

All which contain stimulants apart from the alcohol.

I do wonder however what life would be like if all the addictive substances were removed from society entirely!
Hypothetically speaking, as if that was even possible. As the ideal Islamic Society is supposed to be like.
I wonder how it would affect people's behaviour.

Anytime someone smokes near me it causes my to have running meltdowns that have nearly caused me to get hit by cars; I resent smokers and I resent having to run my life like a stealth game.
So No, I don't smoke and I never will.
