I am an Aspie. I am not a "person with AS" any more than I am a person with maleness, person with moderate tallness, or person with intelligence. I am male, slightly tall, and intelligent, as well as autistic. Saying "person with AS" implies that it is some kind of disease, like cancer. Person-first terminology is used with a disease or disorder. I have ADHD-predominantly inattentive and I have sensory integration disorder. I could be described as a person living with prosopagnosia or a person with auditory processing disorder. I do not "have Asperger's Syndrome" and I am not a "person with Aperger's Sndrome." I am an Aspie. It is an inseparable part of who I am, it is part of my identity.

Take it up with HANS. Apparently he wanted to originally call it Little Professors.

No, he originally wanted to call it autistic psychopathy.
